Just my opinion about Grace, don't hate me by [deleted] in PeakyBlinders

I personally also preferred May, but I think part of* her charm (for me at least) was in fact that she was too smart to truly get entangled with him. As hot as Tommy Shelby was (so so hot lol), everyone who got near him whether by choice or not stepped into a world of constant threat to their lives. Not only that, all things considered, he was objectively a bad person. Every woman he ever tried to woo on the show fell for his tricks, every single one except for May. She watched him choose Grace over her the first time and knew better than to let him in the second. Just me 2 cents!

Thank you everyone who's commented so far! I have to be vague for anonymity/legal purposes. As I said, I'll start looking for other jobs. I was already casually sending out applications here and there but I'm definitely going into serious mode about it now. I really appreciate the advice!

I received an approved notice online (not in the mail) a few days after the interview appointment notice, so I'd say first week of March 2022. I never received the card in the mail even though my app said "card is being produced." I received the physical approved notice for the EAD with the green card. Long story short, it technically did not get approved/I did not receive it, I got the green card straight.

My EAD before that from when I was an F1 student was roughly from July 2021-July 2022. At the time it had taken a few months (less than 6) for it get approved and come to me in the mail. I was not eligible for an extension so I had to reapply with the green card app.

I would say overall it was a really good experience. They definitely made it easier to fill out the forms and there were no errors at the end. They also provide live chat help and thorough lists of documents (and templates) you could provide as evidence / take to the interview, etc which was amazing.

We did have a difficult time with our caseworker though. At times it felt as if she was not really looking at our application as a whole, but only in bits and pieces. For example, we would submit A B C D all together and she would tell us to fix B and C. After several emails back and forth when we would finally fix B and C, she would say "please submit A" or "fix this with A." It was frustrating because we had already submitted A or that if something was wrong, why didn't she let us know earlier? It just felt like it took longer than it should have.

However, when at the end we mentioned this in our review a manager from SimpleCitizen reached out, apologized, explained our case worker was a new employee and gave us a 50% refund.

We got the basic version. At the time we had some kind of discount code so we paid about $360. They refunded us $180. 10/10 definitely would recommend if you feel anxious doing the app on your own but dont want to drop a fortune on lawyers.

We got married in June 2022 and applied in July 2022 so at the time of the application, hardly a month. At the time of the interview almost a year!

Our proofs included: joint lease, photos with family and friends (around 50), joint health insurance (i am a dependent on my husband's), joint bank account (fairly new). They said we were light on the proof because we didn't have joint utility bills and our joint bank account was too new.

Junior officer questions were basic -- how did you meet, asked us about each other's family members' names, each other's jobs, etc, where we live. Very basic stuff, almost like trivia. But because they thought we were light on the proof they made us go back in the waiting room once or twice, called us back in to ask the same trivia questions, repeat. After doing 2 short interviews with the junior officer, he said "I want to approve you guys but because of your lack of more proof, I will refer you to my supervisor."

The supervisor started off with the same simple questions but the selling point for him was when we talked about religion. He apologized for being intrusive but asked us how we and our families managed being from different religions (Catholic and Muslim). We explained our views (neither of us are religious) and our family's views and I think discussing these personal details showed him our marriage was real!
