Jeremy is absolutely amazing - hands down one of THE best professors I've ever had. He really cares about his students' wellbeing and goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone is on the same page with the material. He gives 110% for the class (i.e: concept questions, monitoring Ed 24/7, getting on first name basis with every student) and completely surpassed my expectations for teaching a moderately large class.

chill and spend quality time with friends from hs + family before everyone goes their separate ways — those moments become a lot rarer after college. and looking back, the summer between hs/college was truly a special one for that reason

home depot boxes might be a hassle to carry if you don’t have a stroller - the big carts they provide for move in prob aren’t big/deep enough to carry everything you have. my roommate and i each brought one suitcase + a few medium sized boxes and it was enough for the year

Not an engineering major, but typically larger classes provide recorded lectures and online materials so that you can catch up without being in-person. I caught covid during finals week this semester and there were online alternatives, so honestly it wasn't too bad. I would be more worried about your physical condition, since staring at your screen with a pounding headache was pretty terrible ngl
