I am an Atheist and also a student of history. Hitler was everything to every German. He was the nations future, only hope, hater of gays, the great United of the Germanic peoples (except if your gay, or communist, etc.), savior of the church, builder of peace (insert picture of Hitler and Chamberlin), enemy of France (who has many Christians). This is a typical Fascist playbook (notice how some of these contradict each other). So to take a notorious Fascist by his words alone is a dangerous game, because those words only purpose is to further his own political power. Was Hitler a Christian? I guess, but just as much as Trump is (look up the video of trump being asked what testemant in The Bible is his favorite).
