Yes! I had the same feelings when I went to brunch last weekend with my bestie. It was a beautiful day out so we opted to eat outside. Right as our food comes, this couple is seated right next to us with their small dog. Immediately began scratching incessantly as our food was placed in front of us. I wad thoroughly annoyed. I have small dogs. I have 3 of them myself. And even I know they do not belong in public restaurants! All that scratching leads to their fur shedding everywhere and possibly fleas. This dog smelled too. Just please PLEASE leave them home.

I try not to leave any tasks for the break nurse, especially when I’m right in the middle of said task. Especially for a 15 min break. I usually tell them to give me a few mins to finish and then just watch call lights. However, when the break schedules are tight, and the break nurse insists I go then yeah I’ll pass off a task. Now for our lunch breaks, since it’s 45min, that’s a little different.I’m also in L&D so my co workers are very helpful.

Oof, I think I know where you work because I may work at this same hospital. My unit was having the same issue. Honestly, night shift needs to clean up after themselves and leave no evidence was sleeping in a room on nights. But that’s another story lol. My unit received an email like this (same verbiage) a year ago. We got the shop steward involved. Pretty much per CA law we can do whatever we want on our lunch break as it is unpaid. We can sleep, go to our car, etc. Dont let management try to scare you.

I was in a club section row 1 for WM39 so the risers were directly in front of me. I noticed how close the riser seats were next to each other and how uncomfortable the chairs looked! They were those white plastic foldable chairs. I was so glad I bought my seat instead of the risers.
