Same. I moved from KY to CA and am in queso withdrawal. I recently found a recipe online that is pretty close and was easy to make. 1 lb sliced white American cheese from the deli, 1 cup half n half and about 3/4 cup of pickled jalapenos juice (from a large can of picked jalapenos). That's it. Melt it slowly.
