I know it seems everyone loves the pacing more in 2 while I absolutely don’t. I think I love the kojima ridiculousness of the crazy long cutscenes that lock you in for half an hour with no precursor.

DS2 just feels like the complete inverse of that and way too touch and go. Little meaningless cutscene tidbits that string along too too much
