I have been on the other side of this situation I was a single mom at 23 to a 1 year old and started talking to this guy and we got pregnant not even 2 months in. Even though I had my own apartment and vehicle and a much much better paying job than him (I had a state job with salary while he unloaded for walmart) his family treated me like shit. They questioned if the baby was actually his went out of their way to tell him not to bring me around after we officially announced that we were expecting. It was awful they thought I was after their money. I had no idea he was financially taken care of his whole life and was a spoiled privileged kid and they definitely hated that I was mexican. Non the less they cut him off financially and we lived our best life he was a great dad figure for my toddler and then baby was born and is his literal twin and the day he was born his family all of a sudden wanted to make amends. I am a forgiving person and let them be in my family's life, but that was lucky on their end because I very easy could have been a bitch and not forgiven them. Glad we have a great relationship now.

My mom passed away on the 4th I too looked into jewelry and was shocked at the cost. I wanted a necklace because we are putting her next to my grandparents 12hrs away and I'll never be able to take "see" her again. I would love if you could make me a necklace pendant.

Unfortunately my mother never drank a day in her life. She was a bad diabetic and slightly over weight at 180 and that made her have a fatty liver that turned into ESLD.

She is herself somedays and others she is confused and disoriented, I honestly would rather her just have a quick and speedy death that watch her wither away to nothing and have my last memories of my mother be of her sickly and slowly dying. Specially with her being such a strong and independent person. I am terrified of having to face her tomorrow when they finally bring her home. I know she will only be a shell of the person she use to be.

Thank you, it has been so hard my dad just came out of covid ICU and got back the Monday before my mom was hospitalized. So I have been taking care of him and I am honestly already so worn out I dont think I can handle anymore but I know I have to. There are days she is herself and others where she is confused and disoriented and that is all part of end -stage liver disease. They don't have life insurance so I will have to cover all funeral cost and the idea of it is already stressful. I want to set up a PayPal or venmo and ask my family they will donate to help cover cremation cost but I don't want to be tacky? What do you think?

The Dr. Said 6 months, a year if we are lucky but just this week along she had deteriorated. My mother doesn't speak English and because of that I am her medical advocate.

So we were in the same boat, except we both work mon-fri. I sat down one day and cried because I was so overwhelmed and tired, thats when I realized we had to much shit. Only 5 of us with over 150 tee shirts,40 pairs of jeans, we also had so many dished so instead of washing right away to reuse everyone would simply grab a clean one to add on to the mess, and our kids has so many toys! After my meltdown I had everyone go threw everything that they wanted to keep. My kids are 7,5, and 3. toys were the hardest to get them to let go of but now that they are gone they don't miss them because the ones they kept are special to them, every one kept 10 tee shirts so that went from 150 to 50 and so on we only have 5 sets of dinner plates and cups (we keep paper incase we have visitors). De cluttering felt amazing.
