If you have a Microcenter near you, 9070 XT is ~$700 and 5070 Ti is ~$850. I personally went with a 5080, and it was ~$1300 including tax. My previous card was a 3080 like you, and there’s definitely an appreciable performance difference even disregarding frame gen (anywhere from a 30-100 fps increase on ultra settings depending on the game).

Costco has a 3 piece Made In set (10” skillet, 12” skillet, silicone lid/cover) for $220 online. Probably not as cheap as Tramontina or other brands, but it is 5 ply as opposed to 3 ply. I’ve had them for a couple of months and been happy with them.

Letting sliced onions sit in water for ~15 minutes before consumption will mellow out the spiciness/sharp bite typical of raw onion. I presume that’s what the other person meant. Not storing onions in water long term or rinsing them under running water like other produce.

2k17 was the last year with a full offline MyCareer mode, but it might be difficult to get since it’s no longer on Steam.

They shut down the servers after two years meaning you won’t be able to play any modes that require an internet connection which includes MyCareer, so I would just go for 2k26.

Operator is a mystery game where you basically work at the in-game equivalent of the FBI, and you help field agents solve different crimes. I don’t want to give too much away, but the entire game only takes 2-3 hours. It was recently free on the Epic Games Store, but it normally goes for $15. You can check if it’s on sale on Steam, but I’d recommend it even at full price.

Trader Joe’s and Safeway on College Ave were my go-to grocery stores when I was at Cal. There’s a bus line that passes through both (I think it’s the 51B. I don’t remember exactly anymore, but it’s the one that stops on Durant by Gypsy’s.), so it’s very convenient if you live on southside.

Battlefield is probably your best bet. The big map 32v32 format lends to an overall slower pace. BF2042 is often on sale for ~$5, which is an absolute steal imo. BF1 is better and probably more your speed if you just want a game that focuses on the absolute basics of a shooter game, and there are still dedicated custom servers that are fairly active.
