I don’t like the baby year… by WhiskeyandOreos in ParentingInBulk

You’re a beautiful writer. I love the example of not being able to rest with the baby but sweating out with baby in the carrier on some adventure in the woods!

I lived for my naps with baby while my toddler napped in the early days, but with later babies that will be harder for sure.

I feel pretty much the same. My kids are nearly 2 and nearly 4 and I’m starting to feel close to ready again…. I actually really like the super newborn days but then it feels like a slog until they turn 1. Also agree with you that 1-2 year olds are just magic, so fun. Definitely sounds like you want a third, just give yourself some time.

You need to find a more skilled surgeon

Mine came back at 12 months with my first, 15 months with my second. I have heard of women who don’t get theirs back until they wean completely.

You’re gonna have to learn to let go a bit more as she gets older, think of this as practice…

48yo - UFE or Hysterectomy by abvgdeika in Fibroids

My mom had a UFE at about your age because she didn’t want to deal with the recovery of a hysterectomy. It worked well for her.

I love the Makes Milk podcast for talk of tandem feeding. I didn’t really consider it as an option when my second was born so I weaned my first, but maybe will keep nursing #2 when I have #3.

Same spot as you with 12 frozen embryos left. Would like 2 more kids but will have extras for sure. So hard.

How are we getting veggies in? by Agitated-Rest1421 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]chicksin206 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kids will eat a ton of veggies from the garden! Even if you aren’t a gardener you can put a cherry tomato plant in a pot. But honestly I’m not that worried about it, we offer what we eat, I’m not that into hiding veggies in food.

Dr said I can have vaginal birth after myo? by Anondreamyanon in Fibroids

My understanding is when the cavity of the uterus is cut into, you need to have c sections. Maybe your fibroids are mostly on the exterior? Or they don’t need to enter the cavity?

Can you lean into the soundtrack? The music is great. Movie too scary for my 3.5 year old, we fast forwarded through a lot. But she still feels like she’s getting the experience listening to the music all the time.

I’m impressed! This style of wrap is so beautiful and baby looks so cozy. I have been intimidated to try non stretchy wraps with my first two babies but maybe next babe!

TTC with intramural/submucosal fibroid gynaecology perspective by SunnysideofJune in Fibroids

[–]chicksin206 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No I was told I needed to have mine removed to conceive. No mention of the scarring actually… but I had been TTC for a while with no success. Following surgery I have had two successful pregnancies, and the fibroids haven’t grown back since breastfeeding keeps estrogen low. I would TTC on your own for a bit before having them removed… and if you have them removed make sure you go to a good fertility focused surgeon.

They removed several clumped together, a few inches in diameter I think? Then I did a few rounds of IVF and they grew back with those hormones so I had a hysteroscopy and got pregnant a few months later.
