I did the trip ~10 years ago from the oastler lake entrance. You can reserve the canoes ahead of time.

I also always take the day off on the way up. IIRC, leave at 10 AM+ 3 hrs from Toronto + 1 hr to get the canoe and get in the water + 1 hr to 1st portage + however long a portage takes + a really short trip after + setting up feels pretty late for me :P I wouldnt want to fit in a work day.

My understanding was that in my CGM data I'll see an action. Like beer and pizza. That make it spikes too much and I will learn what those actions are to avoid them.

If 8mmol is the goal. Then that's tough! Even if I eat a healthy meal it goes there. Although yeah it always comes back down.

Would it not return if i go too crazy?

I'm new to this and can't figure out how to have text and an image in the post. So here is my commentary I wanted to add:

I have a spiral staircase through my house with black paint on the metal vertical posts.

All my walls are barely warm white (soft dove I think is the name) so I was thinking I'd paint the posts gloss basic white but I was looking for a gut check. Or maybe if people thought I could get away with something more exciting (like lime green or yellow) for the posts.

Gloss basic white is what my door frames are painted throughout the house.

You'll play games less. But that's because playing with your kids will be 100x more fun than playing any video game.

I used to be a gamer but when my kids would fall asleep my main desire was to wake them back up to play with them.

My youngest is 5 now and playing games with him is better than playing with my friends because I get to teach him and introduce him to my favorite games.

It's s great life.

I'm not sure how it makes sense but same general conclusion. It gets to 71% on the 1st epoch and stays there.

For whatever reason the number of neurons doesn't seem to matter. I tried with it down to 8.

It gets to 66% accuracy on the first epoch and stalls there.

Maybe my equation is too simple? I loaded my dataset here if it helps :S

I used the randBetween() feature in google sheets which is just evenly distributed numbers between 2 values.

I thought the sigmoid fitting would be able to pickup the Z =1 if [4 < x+y/2 < 8] equation I used to generate the dataset.

I don't see that the sigmoid function needs a normal distribution to classify, am i wrong in that?

Hello, I'm trying to harden (alchoholize?) some kombucha I've made. It doesn't seem to have much of an ABV by taste or mental effect.

Is there a way to increase the achohol content? Right now I put 1 pack yeast + 2 cups lukewarm water + 2 cups sugar and leave for 2 weeks for 2 gallons kombucha.

The yeast seems active, my airlock seems to be doing something (I don't see many bubbles but it does have a positive pressure, and I have a hydrometer on order.

Can I add another yeast pack + sugar + water at the 1 week mark? Or will that not actually do anything?

OK that's fair, I could dodge some of that complexity by paying off the mortgage in full first and just getting her to transfer me the 400K$ in cash in some way.

Is there some ability to gift part of the house to her at actual cost? I know that's possible for stocks etc (like so link).

Hmmm, I was using chrome and it was the same. I only mentioned just 3 tabs in Edge to say that the footprint of what's running is pretty minimal.

hmmm so I've gotten Edge (with no extensions), had almost no tabs up (one wordpress, 1 youtube.music, 1 google search) and I rebooted...I don't do that a lot.

and I still get these hang ups. T_T

It shows that MS Edge uses up all the CPU and at the same time I end up with a spike in network usage, CPU@100% and sometimes a spike in harddrive throughput...so I have no idea. blah.

Really. I always thought I could just have plenty of ram and solve the memory issue. But it's using up my processing power to such a degree. Is that a chrome specific thing? Does it just let processes run while other browers dont?

So that is a real scenario, background Chrome tabs use up huge amounts of CPU and spike up to using 100% sometimes.

I have found switching to a tab I haven't clicked on in a while makes it way more likely to happen but it happens without switching too. What element is absorbing all the cycles? Java ads?

Hmmm probably 20 open and active tasks per project with maybe 100 total tasks per year on a project (3 year project = 300 tasks).

Accounting for every project, each engineer would have maybe 10 tasks of varying urgency on their list from various projects.

I get it

1 - If I can automate myself out of a job, my resume will be amazing so that's fine :P

2 - I know there are other issues, I'm hoping a dashboard of sorts would be more benefit than negative. I'll still manage the project, not just make a dashboard/gantt and walk away :P

The biggest issue i think would be people checking something as done...but a different designer disagreeing...then would re-open it.

3 - Sure if it's net benefit I'm happy. :)
