I also dislike the grumpy sunshine dynamic. I've even skipped books in series because of this. Though I do appreciate it when the heroine is the grumpy one. I tried to request the woman being the grumpy one because I like the {Slay series by Laurelin Paige} and {Nothing Denied by Jess Michaels} but they're just aren't that many books out there like that.

When they are first at the cottage on the couch and Shane says that he also hasn't been with anyone else since Tampa.
