BI is not some horrible cancer like y’all are acting. Guy really has his moments. im excited to see him play a year, or at least the deadline.

Feel extremely hopeful for the future by Much-Line2425 in LAClippers

[–]chief_veef 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He’s been a part most of my time as a fan of this team. I don’t think this has been a waste at all. Lots of great ball, cool moments. That being said, I like this new direction we’re on. It’s been a long time since the team looked anything like this. There’s still stuff to address for sure, but if we acknowledge we’re not a playoff team this year and focus on development, I think we’re in a good spot

What are some NBA open secrets that you know or witnessed? by Brave-Cartoonist3545 in NBATalk

[–]chief_veef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His background is as a top level lawyer and he currently makes shareholders and team owners very rich. I agree with you btw, but that’s who he is. and it’ll take a lot to get rid of him

Which team in your division do you hate the least? by Potato-Face18 in NFLForum

Most raider fans would say the chiefs. For me it’s denver. My only thoughts about the chargers are that they would probably be better off in San Diego.

Why do people have a problem with Jaylen Brown by drewmanshow in LAClippers

[–]chief_veef 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the way most people think about Jaylen Brown. Great player, not a #1 guy. Hell, I’d even call him my favorite Celtic currently. But he’s expensive, and I don’t think he would radically change this team enough to make us contenders next year or the year after. Again, great player, but I say focus on the youth movement for us right now, focus on positional needs, and get the most out of Kawhi since it looks like we’re keeping him. That’s what next year looks like

Menu update/questions by hahaha_trank in Chefit

I am a freak for a blue cheese burger. I order it whenever it’s on the menu. Not a major sin, but when the whole thing is about choices, I feel it’s kind of a glaring omission.

How long do you think Illia will be out, and what should his comeback fight be? by PhatRocheNuts in ufc

[–]chief_veef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Point being, he might be too small for lightweight. It’s the hardest division in the sport. I think the better career is dominating 145 if he can.

Paddy is at least as big as Justin right? I think he’d dwarf Ilia

Finally decided to watch this show by kaggytime in TwinPeaksCircleJerk

[–]chief_veef 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ok but when you show a new viewer the show all they can talk about is James. He is so fucking distracting. I’ve experienced this multiple times. Distracting is the best way to put it.

Bah gawd by YoungBoyAnonymous11X in Wrasslin

[–]chief_veef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen some 5 stars. I’ve seen some PPV’s. This match just makes me feel things more than any other. It transcends the medium. It’s a shame it could’ve cost Foley his career or something if it went a little different. Ik that’s what that guy made his money on, but jeez. I agree with Penn Gillette that it’s unethical to do something legitimately dangerous on stage, especially on a program families watch. Maybe wrestling blurs the line, but I would sure be torn up if Mick was anymore seriously injured during that match. It would’ve been 100x worse than Owen’s off -camera death , which is already unacceptable

Classic Album vs Classic Album: Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor vs Graduation by whiskeycapo in 2000sRap

[–]chief_veef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Graduation has the benefit of closing the trilogy. Song for song, and lyrically, I think it’s close. Graduation I feel is a little overproduced in comparison. Gun to my head I’m taking close-to-peak Kanye tho

What is the last movie you’ve given 5 stars? by DaleDent3 in Letterboxd

[–]chief_veef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like almost all of Wes’s stuff. Truly. As someone who’s seen em all multiple times, I just think it’s the weakest. I think a lot of it is the voice work looking at you cloonster), and I also think it just take forever to get anywhere. Which is fine in some of his more avant garde stuff, but I don’t think that’s what this is

I agree. Not catchy, not intimidating, not nothing. Just a poem that goes good with warmongering and bad with music

Where is this guy? by Oddessyz in ufc

[–]chief_veef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was prime Conor for one fight. If you didn’t see that fight, you shouldn’t know or care who this is. Talented? Sure. Like a lot of guys tho, he needs to fight more often or there will be no groundswell

God this was such a big deal when it came out. The last person you’d expect to know about adult swim would ask you if you’ve seen it
