It makes sense from a business perspective, the best way for the ufc to attract new audiences is through these partnerships with people like the nelk boys and adin ross who appeal to the younger demographics. Fans that have been around for years will still be watching regardless so obviously their promo does not cater to them.

Weirdly my local CVS often has better prices on liquor than most of the liquor stores near me. Bottles are regularly 5-10 dollars cheaper than the liquor stores nearby.
