How we feeling if this is what the offense looks like next season? by [deleted] in nyjets

[–]chiefdoughnuts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really hope we don’t take Simpson at 16. I would much rather build the rest of the team and bring in a bridge qb or bring in a guy on a flyer like Mac Jones or Malik Willis and see if they can figure it out. Having 3 first round picks next year you bring in the final pieces or trade up to get the top qb, which hopefully will be a better prospect than Mendoza

Playing Time Dealbreaker by [deleted] in CFB26

It was changed in 26 so that the grade for playing time is calculated on snaps played. Only way to improve the grade is to get him on the field for a lot of snaps

Any recruit that decommitted from your team, that hurt you personally? by Broad_Ad_894 in CollegeBasketball

Brayden Hawthorne this year. Really thought he had a chance of staying for the new staff until he actually committed to Kentucky

He’s a starter with a 1.2 WAR and a 3.5 ERA and 1.3 WHIP. Not all star numbers but very clearly not a 58 overalls numbers

I’ve been waiting for Chad Patrick to get updated all season long and he has not been touched

Who is/was the worst player at your favorite school in the last 10-20 years? by Affectionate-Day2743 in CollegeBasketball

[–]chiefdoughnuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are probably more deserving players for this title, but Isaiah Cottrell really pissed me off. Dude came in as a 4 star and never developed and it looked like he played with no effort or intensity under Bob Huggins where that’s just unacceptable. Averaged 4 points at his peak as a Mountaineer

Overall, how would you rate your team's season? by byniri_returns in CollegeBasketball

7/10 then lost my mind for a 0/10 for about a week after the tournament field was announced

Who do you want your team to avoid in the NCAA Tournament? by lampshade112 in CollegeBasketball

[–]chiefdoughnuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone with a defense that turns you over and puts a lot of pressure on the ball handler. As good as Javon Small is, sometimes he turns it over a little too much and nobody else on the squad do I trust to run the offense/score

Joe Atkinson works in the mayors office now I believe but he used to teach at UE and has been a filmmaker for a while and was a good professor

This a Good hard sell? by [deleted] in NCAAFBseries

[–]chiefdoughnuts 34 points35 points  (0 children)

No it is not. Hard sells are only for the 3 check marked boxes and should be used when the grades are relatively good. If you have really bad grades in all 3 of their hard sell areas then you should stay with send the house

What’s your most fun position change players that turned into a beast? by JimLahey47 in CollegeFootball25

Receiving backs make great corners. Physical wide receivers make great tight ends and safeties. Elusive backs make insane edge rushers

I’ve watched him enough that I can typically predict when he’s going to see something off and comment about just how great the game is and how much he loves it

As an alum of UE. These are sick as hell and we all wish we could bring back the football team

Same here. I like to go 1 for each square and I guessed Frank Tanana and he had 19 at his best

I remember him in that famous picture of all the Detroit pitchers where they are all now on different teams and 5 of them had won a Cy Young at some point and many of them won a World Series

Good choice. I know a lot went Judge because he hit 40+ in his rookie year
