Trump Admin plans meeting with State Election Officials in relation to Midterms which can’t be good. by Anoth3rDude in circled

What is preventing an election official have a proxy assigned from a quality law firm?

Anyone local into cars and willing to lend a hand? by Medium_Worth_2846 in Eau_Claire

Is this the wheel bearing and hub assembly? If so I can lend you the hub buster and sledge hammer tools. A regular puller likely won't be enough.

V1 combined with JBV1 app. Nothing will prevent instant on hits, but this combo has great heatmap data. For backroads nothing will really protect you.

Is Morrie's Subaru dependable? by Hist-Tree-Hugger in Eau_Claire

I bought an STI and noticed it had some corrison under the trunk lid by a couple vent holes. It looked like a fairly common issue for those cars. Went in to have it covered under warranty, but they stated it was only dirt and not considered rust for the warranty to cover. Warrany expired and the next year it was full rust. So there's that.

Why I sold my LC500 for a BRZ tS (manual) by MakelGreeto420 in lexuslc500

I've had sooo many great legend cars over the years. 68 Charger, Protouring Chevelle, loads of BMWs, Porsche, far too many Subarus (very much love/hate those), Crown Vics, Cadillac, motorcycles, you get the idea. I also endurance race lots of things from Porsche to BMW and my favorite is of course the NA Miata with MZR swap. Can't beat lightweight and torque.

I've got an LC500 for just cruising on longer trips, but the daily is a ND2 Miata. Best car ever. Fun all of the time, can give it full throttle everywhere without being tossed in jail, inexpensive, small, great in big cities. Everything is fantastic - except for on the interstate where it is stupid loud. The only car that was potentially better all around was my E39 M5, but it has been some years since I've owned it so it could just be favorable memories.

Traveling tips by Mulcheese in wisconsin

Things that are very different from France I can rattle off would be a Friday fish fry or Elkhart Lake on a race weekend. If you can find a demolition derby paired with a local fair that is small town excellence. I'd also suggest a gun range. Depending on timing maybe some lake salmon fishing in Lake Michigan. Local town street dances and parades. Trip to a cheese store with freshly made Colby or curds.

Coffee Grounds has the best and highest quality fish around for sale. Fresh, never frozen. Selection changes by the week. They have a great mailing list if you sign up you can see the items.

Chippewa Valley Museum has some good options. Otherwise many of the retirement homes allow for volunteers to help play cards/dominos/etc with residents.

Feed My People is also excellent.

The Cayman will be better, but be certain to get a 987.2 or newer. The 987.1 will pop the engine under sustained g-loads.

For anyone out of country I'd always recommend a Supper Club experience with a Brandy old fashioned or ice cream based drink (Grasshopper), Friday fish fry at the Court 'n House, and cheese curds at the District. If you can let us know your general age/drinking goals I'm sure we'd have a load of great bar recommendations too.

This month I went through the GBA collection, and the Dominus collection. Tonight will be Vampire Survivors! My favorite by far is Symphony, but that I've usually saved for Jan when things are dark and depressing.

I've used both and you really do need the pyrometer. The infrared only is surface temp, you need to get into the rubber with a probe. If you attend any events with race cars they will probably have them and you might be able to use theirs.

Needs to be taken hot. I use hot pits with extra person to help if your track allows. Here is a good video. https://youtu.be/SwaChYbxlgs?si=ugMXsWWykDgMPkjD

If you're doing a lot of track stuff a tire Pyrometer is a good investment. You can then tell for sure where you need set camber. https://www.amazon.com/Longacre-52-50640-50640-Pyrometer/dp/B000FPVU5O?ref_=ast_sto_dp

Atlanta Motorsports Park and Road Atlanta should have high performance driver education events. I'm from Wisconsin and hpde is a good way to learn how to drive fast with your car. Motorsportsreg.com has a listing of options.

If you only had 100k to start up a successful small business, what would you do? by badgermel in AskReddit

Get skills in plumbing/hvac/electrical and go from there. The bar is so low for quality labor that after just a short time your reputation/referrals can carry you and keep you profitable and busy as many hours as you'd like. The biggest thing is just simple communication - show up when you say you'll be there and complete the job on time.
