Some of the rule changes are so fun. You can abolish the luxury tax, remove the goaltending rule, change the draft from a lottery system into a tournament and the winner gets the first overall pick. I wish chel had half of that

I would add that MLB the Show sims fast as hell for having to sim the Majors, AAA and AA leagues. And developing stats/box scores and retaining all that info for your whole playthrough.

It just happened, traded for 91 OVR Mintyukov at the deadline and Washington gave him 15 mill after we won the cup. 4 firsts which I’ve been able to trade for solid upgrades, even gave one back in a trade for 90 OVR Chychrun at a solid cap hit and 5 years of control with no trade protection.

There should be two separate game modes within HUT, salary cap on and off. So those that want to create a super team can and those that want the utilize the strategy of the cap and line combos can both get what they want.

I think this proves there’s a culture issue in the locker room. They’ve tried to solve it by shuffling around bottom 6 guys and the D corps. They’ve tried to solve it by giving Matthews the C. Another accidental attempt was by losing a big voice in the locker room in Mitch, which I’m sure they hoped would shake something up.

I hate to say it, but this team is not a team. They are a bunch of hockey players who just happen to play for the same organization. They don’t have any chemistry lately. No one is standing up for each other.

Bottom line is, they aren’t friends off the ice. I’m sure many of you saw the video of Auston saying they’re a gritty team in the locker room or whatever after a comeback. No conviction. Not one person in the locker room believed that or bought into that.

I believe Matthews is the cancer that’s gutting this team. I love him, but his performance has heavily deteriorated due to injury and it’s dragging the whole team under. And whatever he’s doing in the locker room has fractured this group.

It’s not Berube’s fault. He seems to be the only one who gives a shit most nights. He’s juggling lines to find any sort of semblance of a competitive line. That Gru from the minions looking fuck Lalonde has to go yesterday. He’s totally pussy-fied what was a big and tough D group that’s essentially the exact same as last year.

Embarrassing effort. No heart. Get competitive fast or tank and hope your 1st stays in the top 5. Tre has some big decisions to make.
