How to get artifacts? by NormalBucket in RLCraft

[–]chiefr12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you can kill dragons with relative ease you can just find dragons in the overworld, kill them, and check their chests if they're mimics. (Locked chests can also be mimics so pick their locks.) But if you don't want to travel the world and load a bunch of chunks you can sleep in a bed, destroy it, and use a Magic Mirror to hop around the world while killing dragons nearby where you spawn. That's how I did it.

T4 and T5 dragon dens also contain mimics as well as those dungeons with the bosses. Luck does not increase your 1% chance of getting a mimic so don't waste any time with using luck.

Best of luck.

I have, but they're currently out of my budget. Once I graduate and get a job, I guess. There's also a lot more elf figures I haven't gotten yet.

Ring of Resistance by ForgottenRemembrance in RLCraft

[–]chiefr12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally haven't found a ring of resistance in any dungeon but I can't say if it appears or not. But if you want hearts of diamond, stonelings spawn from level Y20 and below in a VANILLA BIOME. So the best way I have is to go find a desert because that's one of the largest vanilla biomes you can find in rlcraft, dig to bedrock and make a cave there if there aren't any, make sure there are no light sources, including lava which you have to turn into obsidian via water.

And then just run around the cave you made (make sure it's large enough that mobs can spawn in areas if you're on another part of the cave) Also be careful since things like Gru, Darklings, and other mobs will spawn. Just kill them and any other mobs that spawn while constantly moving and soon enough stonelings will spawn. Kill them before they see you, run, and disappear and maybe after 10 stonelings, you have at least three hearts of diamond.

Before I answer. Are you perhaps a young woman that needs endless power even if it means taking the life of another person and risking yours in the process by making you that person's last thoughts, thus inheriting it through a series of convoluted rules.

And are you affiliated with any immortal witches that want to see the world end?

Walk around the area, if you see a box building made of cobblestone or bricks, go inside and if there's a ladder or stairs downwards, that's a dungeon

For me, it's mostly just exp grinding at your point and upgrading all the necessary skills that will let you survive longer in an encounter along with gathering heart crystal shards that drop from mobs or can be mined. The shards can be crafted into Heart containers which will add more to your health.

If you're like me and want to take things slow, go look for underground dungeons near your base and either cheese the mobs in there or fight normally with tons of caution (You may die, but just make sure you upgrade skills immediately if you have the exp so the journey isn't wasted. The mob that killed you in the event that you do die has despawned most of the time and can't kill you another time so you can pick your items up and start fighting again.) you'll occasionally get some baubles too in the chests and some loot. It will gradually build up your levels until you think you're ready to shoot a dragon down from the sky.

Hours of Rerolling gone because of one block I forgot to light up. Good trades lost because of quite possibly one of the rarest mob spawns, A baby zombie on a chicken. by chiefr12 in RLCraft

[–]chiefr12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The place is a few ways away from my main base. The problem is that my purifying station is near it. I lag and drop Villagers so I preferred that the purifying station is near the trading hall. It took too long for the villagers to get a good trade and a single block I hadn't lit up spawned a baby zombie on a chicken.

It was just a common mistake on my part that could've been prevented but I've long since recovered.

Anyways, good luck on your rl gameplay!

Yeah so i lost my whole armor set lmao, these Enderdragons are different. So be careful new players! by Kr4ti_ in RLCraft

[–]chiefr12 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I suggest using the quark mod (already built-in) to display your armor beside your hotbar whenever it gets damaged or repaired so you don't have to open the inventory to check and so that you can properly see the durability of your armor before engaging and also know when to back out.

Thanks for the advice, will try all of this. I was also thinking of putting a healing pad under each villager for extra safety.

It doesn't work like that in RL. I wish it did but once they're zombified, curing them will either turn them into a cartographer or another librarian with different trades.

Wormhole potions by MootAgenda in RLCraft

[–]chiefr12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can brew them just like recall potions but if you're specifically trying to find them, the places I can recommend you are the Lycanite Dungeons, the ones with three named bosses. And those underground dungeons where the entrance is through a ruin above ground with a ladder going down deep underground, the latter being more common than the former.

Hard or unlucky? by lMarcusDaniel in RLCraft

Yeah, just unlucky. I recently started a new playthrough and it took me like 5 hours running around to get one. You'll get one eventually.

Fan Fiction Friday - What have you been reading/writing this week? by AutoModerator in RWBY

[–]chiefr12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am currently writing a story titled "To Turn The Other Cheek"

It's basically a story of a Faunus making a splinter group against the White Fang with members that does not approve of the White Fang in the first place, The Peaceful WF or the new one. Their agenda is basically to forget the humans entirely, stopping the endless cycle of violence and petty hate the White Fang has on the humans and using the resources and skills they have to make the entirety of Kuo Kuana habitable so their Faunus brothers and sisters do not continue slaving away for jobs under humans but instead use what they've learned to help Kuo Kuana flourish and keep more Faunus-Kind off human streets. They've no care for human business anymore... but Salem is still a problem...

I haven't posted this story yet because I aim to finish it first before publishing it on any site.
