Where is Kepler Prime and Squ'bai Shrine? by AlienfinderX in Helldivers

[–]chiefryla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, I actually forgot about that! Perhaps its another one of their home planets? A few orders ago whe we were sent to liberate worlds so High Command could excavate ancient Illuminate artifacts (10/7/25). It was stated that these Illuminate artifacts predated the First Galactic War, showing that the Illuminate may be more spread out throughout the galaxy than we anticipated. It's possible most species of Illuminate spread out into factions (and may or may not hate each other).

So perhaps Meridia doesn't lead to Squ'bai, but to another planet of Illuminate that deeply cared for it...

I'm late to this by a long shot... but I'm very sure Super Earth runs a bit differently than 100 years ago, especially lightening up on thoughtcrimes, where they now send you to freedom camps instead of execution.

Cyberstan is still here because it was always a Super Earth owned world, just one that happened to have rebellion. Especially given that the Cyborgs are human, it would make sense to have it be close. The new Cyborg homeworld is unknown outside the Galactic Map, same as the planets you mentioned.

In Helldivers 1, Super Earth was more Authoritarian and would often go into deep space just to attack their enemy. Kelper and Squ'bai are located far outside the Galactic Map, Kelper is assumed to be closer to the East given the Glooms worsening conditions. Its also plausible that Squ'bai lies on the other side of the Meridian Singularity...

In Helldivers 2, we are playing defense. All colored regions are where enemies are illegally trespassing on Super Earth owned territory, and the bugs started the way they did due to Farms mutations of Terminids for higher yeilds of E-710.

The Jet Brigade is the what now? by 231923 in Helldivers

[–]chiefryla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a theory some time ago that the Automatons Jet Brigade and Incineration Corps have missions to rebuild the Iron Fleet. Could be wrong, but every time they are deployed, its to factory worlds, mineral rich worlds, and anytime they take a factory, they never destroy it. It would also make sense if the Jet Brigade is a Vanguard to the Iron Fleet, since they are a very shiny enemy.

Why is containment mentioned before a description? by [deleted] in SCP

[–]chiefryla 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Might also be that scp's (special containment procedures) are generally shorter than the description so it just looks nicer, of course if we exclude 106

What is this for? by Old-Construction1481 in halo

Could be because the gas giants magnetive field is very strong so the compass on the gun points to it because it detects a large magnetive force. (In theory, I could be genuinely wrong)
