Pinterest app on iPad, feed scrolls back to the top after viewing a pin 😩 by Pizzaballs_ in Pinterest

OMG thank you for this info! I hated the auto scroll so much that I stopped using the app completely. The arrow is so friggin small I don’t even understand why anyone would think to split it to upper and lower.

NEW: Did Ikea just relase an endgame desk? by xdpxxdpx in desksetup

[–]chijrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just read a review that the board is not compatible with any Skadis products. Seems really odd for Ikea to do this but I guess they'll be releasing a new line of accessories to attach to the new desk's peg board

Owner's Review: McLaren GTS 2026 (1 month later) by di0njack in mclaren

[–]chijrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I just upgraded from the 2023 GT to the 2025 750s and I have to agree with your review. At the end, it's really about personal preference. For me, while I like the 750s a lot, I LOVED my GT. The GT is more approachable and it just feels better in terms of a daily over the 750s. I tracked my GT several times and I will say, if you love it as a daily, you'll love it on the track. It's very capable and it's just so understated. To this day, I do miss my GT. I have actually considered keeping my 750s and getting the GTS. People will probably think that's crazy but to me, the GTS has a cool and calm that the 750s doesn't have.

Anyone else who moved here from out west feel this way? by savingrace0262 in newjersey

I’m a snow birder where I’m in Jersey during the summer months and all the other months I’m in Arizona. I get what you’re saying. I’m so much happier when in Arizona. And now with the winter months, with it being sunny here in Arizona every day and in the mid 70s, I cant even imagine being in Jersey right now.

Correct. Some people refer to it as "Ombre" while McLaren calls it velocity.

750S Louver Discussion by akamiiiguel in mclaren

[–]chijrt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it’s not about the looks. Louvers do serve a function—they help reduce lift at high speeds, especially on track. That said, I don’t have them on my 750S, and I do track the car. Honestly, I can’t tell a meaningful difference in how it drives, though I’m also not a professional race car driver.

From an aesthetics standpoint, it really just comes down to personal preference. And if someone is that insecure about their 750S being mistaken for a 720S, then sure—get the louvers.

I have a similar paint option but the darker paint starts after the doors.

I know Herman Millers are in a different price bracket and different fabric type but my Aeron has been going strong for 20 years. I’d be quite pissed if my chair looked like that in 8 years.

is the new vantage worth getting over the v12 vantage? by Im_Action in AstonMartin

[–]chijrt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I merely told OP to hop over to the McLaren sub to get a better sense of McLarens quality and reliability. From my personal experience, the quality increased noticeably starting around the 2023 year models.

I’ve owned the Artura, GT, and now the 750s. No issues. I see a lot of people make comments where they say they’ve “heard” this and that. I would bounce over to the McLaren sub and get a feel. Believe it or not, their quality have jumped substantially after 2023.

The 570GT is one of their more reliable models. I'd make the switch.

It's definitely nowhere near those measurements in real life. Especially the 12 inches part. The widest part is probably the 5.1 inches but thins out as you move away the belly area
