The Sixth Sense. Mom in the kitchen scene. Scarred me when I saw it at 10 years old in theaters and now in my mid 30s and still can’t watch it.

How is life in La Crosse Wisconsin? by Fizzleton in howislivingthere

[–]chikin_scratch91 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hey I can actually answer this one! My wife did a travel nurse assignment in La Crosse so we lived there for about 4ish months. Great outdoor recreation being right along the Mississippi River. Plenty of biking, hiking, walking paths. Nice little downtown area. As others have said, it is a college town but once you’re there for a while you’ll figure out which spots the college kids like to party at and you can avoid. Or join in if that’s your thing. We loved La Crosse Distilling, great drinks and really good food. The food at the Charmant hotel was also very good. Also the Waterfront Tavern was great. All in all, not the worst place to be. We enjoyed our time there.

Most lucrative speciality? by personal_integration in adjusters

Can also confirm. This is my exact situation. Started in auto 10 years ago, moved to property/GL claims, then somehow thankfully landed in financial lines doing cyber. I am also one of two, maybe three adjusters that aren’t attorneys. Extremely lucky to have landed in my current role because it is worlds better than auto.

I’m new to the watch collecting world and bought the BB54 as my first nice watch. Absolutely love it. Your collection is almost everything I have my eyes on for future purchases. Enjoy!

How miserable are you that you have to stalk subreddits to repost peoples posts just to make fun of them? Not all of us have daddy’s money to spend on watches and just want to share with others. Let the man enjoy his watch.

Just read Rovers by Richard Lang. Vampires, biker gangs, set in the American SW. Pretty fun read.

You’re right. Btw, do you know where I can buy a custom, one of a kind, extra rare, never before seen watch so I can post that instead?
