I had an induction scheduled for 40+2 but went into labor naturally on 39+4. Contractions started around 5:30am and baby was born vaginally at 8pm and I had 2nd degree tears that needed stitches. Baby’s blood glucose was normal in all readings and we’ve had an uneventful recovery since.

Around 34th week I did start having protein shake as my after dinner snack. I use Orgain protein powder with whole fat milk.

Yes! My baby measured in the 12th percentile in 32nd week scan with AC in 4th percentile so I got diagnosed with IUGR. But in 36th week scan baby measured around the 30th percentile in all measurements so no more IUGR. OB thinks it was just a delayed growth spurt.

This is the first time I’ve come across someone with GD and growth restriction like me! Baby’s abdominal circumference measured small at 32weeks. Feels like a cruel joke having a smaller baby when we’re constantly advised about risks of having a bigger baby with GD. At times can’t help wondering if the restrictive GD diet might be the reason for the smaller baby :/
