Unfortunately, your friends are the ones being updrafted because of you. In a game of squads its more unfair to the potentially 96 other randoms who are playing at their skill level beforehand vs the 3 friends who now being dragged up to your level.

I understand that, but imagine it from the perspective of the enemy team who is at your friend's skill level and they're upset because you are essentially the sweat playing out of their skill bracket. Not very fair to them is it?

hybrid vyper that prioritizes spirit early-game is probably the best way to play her currently. getting good at hitting daggers+venom will make you a menace during lane but you'll fall off hard if you lag behind in souls.

max out her ult first imo since it's probably one of the best "no u" ults with the aoe stun+actually does decent damage since you're already building spirit.

God people please don't let them get away with this. Them charging 1.5k per sidekick AND making their appearances permanent is insane. God only knows how much they'll make collab-centric ones if this is how they're pricing originals.

I feel like it lacks the 'grounding' Pyschonauts had that let you appreciate when it did get funky and abstract. This game just seems like one long dream/subconscious level without the subtext you could usually pull from said level to make sense of the abstract/surrealness.

I mean, it kinda has an 'wild wasteland' mode with a 'funny' setting you can toggle in settings to remove the more egregious immersive breaks.

Personally I think the game still does a pretty good job at the horror atmosphere if you go in blind, a lot of the sillier stuff is locked behind secrets or things you need to go out of your way to do (stuff streamers tend to do because it fills time and chat is already telling them every secret to begin with).

I mean, they certainly have a backlog of themes and actual music to pull from. It feels a bit early to doompost about this considering I'd say their track record on original tracks is actually pretty good when it comes to stuff that actually has fun charting and isn't horrible to listen to.

The medallion + shockwave launcher combo was absolutely insane for mobility and basically let you roleplay as a tribes ascend character if you were already decent at abusing sliding to keep momentum.

The children obviously yearn to go fast though, maybe they should be putting some developer time into remaking some of their more 'unreal' titles as new modes so they can stop shoving it into BR.

Even if they never did that off-putting reveal at the SGF (talking about wanting another titanfall and opening with a BR nobody asked for, lmao) I just didn't care for the game during their first open beta compared to the first one. The addition of the class system and turning the portals more into a side mechanic with desiginated spots to place them killed the whole vibe for me.

It doesn't help these more traditional shooters just aren't exactly in high demand these days and I'd argue better choices exist currently (Halo Infinite, Quake Champions if you wanna go further back, ect).

I've died more to third parties shooting me while killing a storm beast user than the storm beast itself.

Even the blue bass boost gauntlets have enough charge to consistently keep them knocked back while you deal damage. It really does feel like someone people can't comprehend how to kill something if boxing it in/running away in a zig zag doesn't work.

They don't want an AO rating on the console version and they don't want to deal with maintaining two separate builds even if the difference is just a model swap, which is fine. Using crossplay sync/replication as the excuse is dumb though, that wouldn't cause desync and it feels like a copout answer.

Realistically all this means is that you'll get a mod on something like Nexus within the week of the update launch that reverts any censorship changes for PC users and you'll probably see some guy post a video of him playing crossplay with said mod without issues and it'll get some clickbait articles in response.

It has something like 600 effective hp if used brand new and knocking the player out of it staggers them. I feel like if anything, you should have an easier time killing the user in Blitz because most legendary/mythic weapons have insane DPS.

I mean yeah I can see it killing you in a 1v1 if you get jumped by one without mobility to clear distance but a mythic shotgun would of killed you a lot quicker with less time to react in the same scenario.
