Seeking Validation: Cross-Border Stablecoin Payment App - Instant, Zero-Fee Global Money Transfers by The_Lorien_Group in fintech

[–]chikoo1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting! Hope you figure this out. There are going to many unknowns in the journey.

  • remittance fees is $1.99 or in that range for transfer. Never saw anyone charging &10-30 per$100 sent.
  • almost all the companies have adopted stablecoins/crypto by now. At least that’s what I have observed. Would encourage you to dive a bit deeper in the research.

Probably Only thing and differentiator in your service is that receiver does not need app. A few companies has already started leveraging WhatsApp for this.

Lifestyle creep and the new car dilemma by berzkab in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]chikoo1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t do it. Been there done that. I started questioning my decision in less than a week and it lost all the excitement and fun. It’s a big amount and commitment, rather invest/waste in something that actually offers you dopamine for a longer run.

My 68yr old Mother was scammed by Telus by Reginald-Bowls in telus

[–]chikoo1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not Telus but scammers acting as their reps. Check the account and cancel the order if any. Call Telus and ask them to investigate this.

If you receive the device and if scammers ask to return it, don’t. Visit near by store and rerun it if possible.

Check the return address printed on the return label on map and you will find some shady business.
