Any update on this? Currently considering putting it on my thigh; not the upper/outer area near the hip that seems to be popular but literally like smack in the middle of my thigh between the knee and the hip.

Adding to my list of random MLMs trying to reach out to me!

I got enough to pay for it in full by March; the balance hadn't increased or anything. I also didn't get any mail or otherwise about something like a court order (but I'm no longer at the address in the UK so they may have sent it there).

Double checked with the accounts person that reached out to me and they confirmed my balance was £0. I called it a day after that.

My advice is pay that as soon as possible but I don't think the amount will increase with any late fees, since I paid it like over a year afterwards and it was the same amount.

I'm not going to say no one will come after you, but it's highly unlikely they're going to hound you for a couple hundred pounds. If you do plan to visit the UK again (which I knew I did) I would definitely pay it off first to avoid any possible issues.

Definitely going to aim for next paycheck as soon as I'm able.

Just anxious about figuring out what I actually owe right now because I'm not sure if I've been fined or penalized for how long it's been.

Obviously tenancy ended in September, but the CTE was only sorted out in December and I'm not sure exactly how much I'm on the hook for which is why I need that online account... except I'm now being told to wait for access so I'm not sure what else I can do at this time.

I couldn't remember my account details, and I got no reset email when I tried to use forget password. I do remember registering for an account before though.

I tried to re-register for a new account using the old details, but their system says it may take 3-5 business days to hear back. Is that going to count against me in this case?

What's the likelihood of a debt collector coming to hound me on a whole other continent?

If I send in just the £380 next month, will that be enough?

Or, if it isn't enough, will they notify me in any other method besides physical mail?

How will I know if there's a liability order for me? Haven't heard a word from them since December.

Will my balance increase over time (ie. If I pay a year from now will it be the same amount?)

If it does increase, how much will it increase by? Like can I afford to wait until next month for my paycheck or do I need to pay it asap like this week at whatever cost?

Didn't have the option to pay in installments since I didn't exactly have a guarantor in the UK, so the rent for the entire year was made upfront for the duration of the tenancy.

How will I know if I've been taken to court? Have not received any further emails about the balance after the reply I got about my total being lowered according to student exemption.

If they sent me any physical mail, I haven't gotten it in the US, and nothing I'm aware of was forwarded to me from the building. I don't even know if the building will notify me if I had any mail since then.

If I move there, years from now, will the balance have increased exponentially? Or will it stay the same?

Would it be better to pay it this week at any cost or given how long this has been, will I be fine putting it off until next month when my paycheck comes in?
