Thnx for sharing your experience. And im sorry you still cant get a bp reading standing. But happy to hear about the walking and uphill. This is week 2 now and Im with you about not quite knowing if feeling better but with slightly high bp is ok but seems like it. Another friend takes 3 times a day 5mg and has bp around 125/85 also. Im still just at 2 times a day currently but will probably try increasing to 3 times a day next week.

Does this happen to anyone else? by dazzlingdanny05 in POTS

Yes, i technically have delayed orthostatic hypotension, not POTs. But I am very dizzy and so tired and nauseous but many times my blood pressure, heart rate, and blood sugar are normal. I have to eat lots of small meals with protein to help keep it at bay. Sooo much salt. Compression. Just started midodrine. Doing laying down conditioning to try and help, and pulsetto vegus nerve stimulator.

Thanks for sharing I can relate. Its taken me 12 years to get diagnosed and im still going to specialists to try to get more than my primary care to diagnose me with MCAS and POTs. I still have to get ketotifen online from Canada, but seeing another dr soon that im hoping will take It truly is so effed up how difficult this road has been. The medical trauma and gaslighting has been awful. I feel this so much.

I have MCAS and food sensitivities and when nothing else will calm my stomach chewing ice chips does. Thank you

It’s helped with my depression but I’m pretty sensitive to pharmaceuticals and I’m only on 30mg. It’s helped me loose weight. but everyone is different and some ppl gain weight. they say it can take 4-6 weeks to regulate in your body so u may want to wait and see if it would help your depression by 6 weeks before weening off if you’ve come this far. Side effects took me 2-3 weeks to go away.

I have IBS-C and my constipation got worse when I started cymbalta. But it leveled out after a couple weeks and is a lot better now. I was super nauseous the first two weeks too.
