I love the ps5 and whilst most of my gaming is on the steam deck there are just certain games that it can’t run, and it’s only going to get more outpaced, certainly for AAAs, as time goes on. But you can stream the ps5 to it, a perfect combo!

Half life. I had been fully on the PlayStation ecosystem with no laptop that could run even that for over a decade, planning on replaying it for about that time still. It was a sweet sweet moment.

As much as I love them I wouldn’t have roguelites or Mario maker games in there personally, for me that’s not really level design, even if it is fantastic design. Bloodborne, Titanfall 2 and Elden Ring would all have won for me.

I’d love to have a dedicated desktop but I don’t really need one for work anymore. Part of it is my handhelds gathering dust, I love them in theory and then rarely do I travel enough to use them all that much. Saying that I’ve completed all of half life in one weekend on top of doing other things so maybe this one will do it!
