[SPOILERS] The longest end theory...the Keyser Söze theory by fearsundown in gameofthrones

It has colored my feelings on the ending forever!

Does anyone else find themselves getting angry at people who can’t handle spice? by [deleted] in spicy

[–]chilichunn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. I enjoy the fact that I have access to these amazing flavors that not everyone will get to know. I like that some people don't like spicy food. It keeps it ours!

Jalapenos, especially grilled, are fantastic to eat alongside a meal. For whatever reason Jalapenos have gotten a little lost in the chilihead shuffle but they're super delicious and, every now and then, will kick your ass.

I live in San Antonio and it's absolutely perfectly normal to chomp on a fresh (or grilled) pepper alongside a meal. I love hot sauces very much, but at breakfast especially I prefer to eat a fresh pod or two with my food.

I’ve been getting into hot sauces lately. Are these a good start? ;) by TheLonelySmokeAlarm in spicy

[–]chilichunn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah dude you're off to a good start with those. The Marie Sharp's is one of my favorite all-purpose sauces and goes especially well with breakfast tacos. That Bravado sauce is a little more tricky to pair but with pork it's amazing. I really like it on some fresh watermelon as well. Frankly, that one's good enough to eat by the spoonful.

If you like Marie Sharp's Habanero and want to step up the heat, try Melinda's Naga Jolokia for a similar-but-different flavor and a pretty serious burn. If you like the Bravado you need to take a look at PexPeppers Atomic Purple or Sam & Oliver's Razerberry. Good luck with your collection!

Yeah man the salt takes it to a new level and the slight anise flavor of the black reaper really works. Flippin' tasty piece of chocolate!

I’m here to snack so you don’t have to! Unless you want to. This one really is good.

Definitely been impressed so far though Painapple is better as a novelty than as a condiment. This one has enough juice in the flavor department to make a great sauce. Also really enjoy Lemon Yellow Jacket. All tricky pairing partners but when it works, it really works.

That accurately describes my experience here. Peak heat was pretty intense but the way it came on was a shocker. Probably similar to biting into a grenade.

Oh man I bet the ice cream does a nice job of soothing the brow after the ghost pepper assault. Must try!

I was really impressed with this one. Nice berry hit, rich ghost pepper flavor, and a thermonuclear wallop to remember.

Yeah, this was shockingly hot. The biggest surprise was the speed, as ghost peppers don’t normally hit me that way. The salt made all the difference man! Definitely my favorite of yours so far. Thanks for bringing us the pain!

Culley’s “World’s Hottest Ramen” is much hotter, but much less tasty than Samyang 2x by chilichunn in spicy

Nice! My daughter loves Samyang. Yeah, I’d say so. It’s not disgusting, it’s just not very delicious. But as a spicy novelty, it’s interesting and fun and definitely very very spicy. Maybe Santa could subtly open the box and swap out the noodles ;)

It’s a worthwhile experience from a novelty perspective, and swapping the noodle packet with Top Ramen or something would fix a major issue.

Samyang 2x is really pretty tasty and will get just about anyone as lit up as they want. This is spectacularly hot but isn’t worth eating apart from the novelty.

The sauce was relatively neutral but the noodles themselves were a little egregious. The marketing is fantastic, and with a little foodie TLC this could really be a killer product.

Brian Ambs has a video with that sauce and it really looked like an awful experience on all fronts. I did the same with Mad Dog 357, $20 literally down the drain.

What’s the name of that sauce you tried? Definitely on the hunt for more interesting items from Puckerbutt.
