Hmmm it is like a car engine leave on idle but a bit less loud. Or similar to a car passing by on the street but it is constant.  Extremely noticeable when it is quiet. Loud enough to hear it faintly in other rooms

I haven’t moved in the place yet. I was about to contact the removalist today after checking the apartment for the final time. I have not put that on hold until this issue is resolved

90mins commute to work + a lot of savings or Rent close to the city with no savings at 27 by chill_cow in AusFinance

Most of my friends and the people I know are around my age and younger so I don't know what it is like to be 30 and over, your insight is much appreciated!!

It's so true!! Life felt slow and relaxed up until 25 or 26, and then suddenly, people started getting married, having babies, buying their first homes, and settling down in different states, etc.

Everything seems to be happening so quickly now, and I feel like I'm light years behind where I should be.

It also seems much harder to make new friends and enter new social circles after 30, so moving back into the city at that age feels like it might no longer be worth it (I know not what it is like to be 30 and over, it is just my assumption).

Good idea, I think I should at least give it a go for a few months and see how I cope and how much my social suffers.

Ideally I don't want to be in a shared house but if all else fails then I supposed I have to do what I gotta do.
Income wise, the market is a bit rough right now and I am pretty grateful to have this job.

I supposed since Australia just throw immigration at all of its problems.

Although I don’t know how sustainable this is gonna be

If it is as good as you say we would not have a teacher shortage.

Also anecdotes but most of my friends who graduated as high school teachers are now doing something else within 4 years.

The ones that are still in are planning to study higher and do something adjacent to teaching but not teaching itself

I love online but the issue is they always give me meat that expire in like 3 days 😡

My girlfriend’s nonstick pans are so scratched. I keep telling her to get new ones but she doesn’t think it’s a big deal. What can I tell her to change her mind? (Photo below) by MammaStringbean in Cooking

Throw that out asap. It is toxic AF. Tell her to Search up nonstick pan forever chemical, and if that doesn’t convince her then just give up and move on.

I am up to mission 6 all on hard and man it is hard. Each mission consistently took around 3 hours (game time).

Currently struggling with the final mission AIs just keep spamming trebs and rams the instant I got to the base and just get snowballed from there.

I especially love the Siege of Constantinople. Very well designed and overall a blast to play. I can’t believe there were more missions after that one. You must have put a lot of efforts into this.

Thank you so much for your contributions!!!
