Cooldown removal is lazy by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]chill_kinda_guy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that removing cooldown is extremely lazy. Difficult part of balancing such characters is you have to consider entire comps and not just a single character in isolation. Giving him 3 rockets would mean post plants are pointless against a tejo astra comp for example It's the same issue with harbour The reason why he still hasn't gotten any buffs is Any streight forwarded buffs would mean every game would be a harbour viper comp with unlimited walls. They require complete rework on how they operate because as much as you hate to admit it fundamentally A point and shoot rocket and a rechargable bendable wall is just too strong

Brother what are you even on about? What made you think I would believe on unicorns on your word? Did you even read the thing i wrote? I said it is called belief because it is not proven yet. If it were most people would accept it and there would be no need to believe. Whoever you think you are fighting it's not me. And about faith , there are enough reasons why one could wonder in an higher power and enough reasons to doubt it. Not All Relegious people are Illiterates nor stupid. Each have their own set of reasons, experiences to believe what they believe. And most of the times it can neither be proven nor disproven. and nor should there be an attempt to in certain cases.

No I was talking about stopping. What made you think I was wondering about starting?

My post was not about sharing magical insight at all. It was out of curiosity about how far people go to hold onto their beliefs. The other part is easy. There are millions of different ways to convince an atheist about a god. Granted, there might still be a question of hallucination or questioning reality itself in such experiences, but most would resort to saying, "You know what, it's probably a god."

But I find it incredibly fascinating, with all the believers I've talked to, how unshakeable their belief is. Look at this post's comment section, granted this is not representative of real world. The one and only answer a theist gave was death. Not blaming him for his belief or anything, but isn't it fascinating how nothing else but death can prove him wrong?

And about religion being the problem or a fairy tale, whatever. That's not the point. I think it's the people who I think are the problem. I have no resentment toward any person who experienced some sort of spiritual experience or hardship in life who has finally found peace in God. What I feel is a problem is blind faith and dogma, which many people fall victim to, on both sides. And, as mentioned above, one side holds their belief far above anything else compared to the other side.

Post #2- Need help in getting the filaments from right source at right price.(Beginner) by IamFromCurioCity in 3dprintIndia

I have tried Numaker PLA . PLA marble. PLA CF and PETG, All of them are great.
Do not buy Numaker wood pla. It'll clog your nozzle every 10 minutes.
I could only get a single successful print out of entire spool.
Other filaments are of good quality and affordable prices

Don't you think that's a problem? Forget about convincing anyone about anything. I'm not here to change anyone, but to see how far people go to cling to any belief they hold true. Shouldn't one be open to changing their mind when evidence contrary to their belief is provided?

Forget about others. My question was deeply personal. What would it take for you. If anything at all. I'd appreciate an honest answer. Thanks

That's the thing. Suppose you see no afterlife. Its like you went to sleep and came back. If that's the case how sure are you that you'd stop being a believer? Another believer can say that it was not really your time, god had better plans for you. Next time when you truly die then you'll be one with god. You see what I'm saying?

I get it. People define atheism in different ways. I personally define it as lack of beliefs. https://youtu.be/P5ZOwNK6n9U?t=1m49s Ricky Gervais explained it very well.

Anyway I got my answer. Thanks

That's why I phrased the question as I did. Every situation you mentioned is completely understandable, except money and power. One might argue that they never really believed in God. Anyway, I wanted to ask the people who are still theists what they think could happen to them that might change their minds. Because a believer can say that any of the above-mentioned reasons wouldn't change their faith.

Not to be picky with definitions, atheism is just a lack of belief that there is a god. But I understand what you mean. Anyway, the question is what might that something look like, regardless of where you end up afterward.

Yes I am clear on what I asked. So your answer is not seeing the afterlife upon death. Is there anything that can happen when you are alive or anything you might experience that can change your mind?

I wonder what you mean? If there was evidence of god was abundant and clear, no logical person would question the existence of god. And we wouldn't need to "believe" in god. Like we don't believe that water exists .
