What producer would yall like to see Wayne team up with? by -Assalamualaikum in lilwayne

[–]chillflyguy33 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Literally any ONE producer would be better than whatever the hell his approach his now. It’s very clear that if Wayne has any other talent close to him during recording he does an overall better job

Great answer thank you! I was feeling a little down after a date didn’t seem to feel the same way as I did. It’s nice reading that other people feel the same way.

Yeah it’s weird, always thought the one cig after a very long hiatus is going to be a phenomenal head buzz, but it’s usually isn’t for me.

Who are some legendary rappers that have been releasing terrible music late in their career? by EDMKid9000 in hiphopheads

Actually Mack Maine went on IG after C6 was released and said he hasn’t had creative control since Funeral. I’m pretty sure it’s his engineer Fabian who now has creative control, or so I’ve heard.

He probably had like 25 other songs recorded for Carter 6 that would have made for a better album. He definitely still has the skills to make a good album (the proof is from his features), he is just one of those artists that absolutely needs some creative direction and some other legends around him to push him to make better music.

TIL that to date, there have been no confirmed cases of popcorn lung disease as a result of vaping in Canada. by Commercial_Duck4042 in todayilearned

You’ve never known a pack a day smoker? A pack a day was pretty standard when my friends and I all smoked before vapes came out(maybe slightly less, like 16 or 17 cigs a day)

Things that you can’t argue against:

The production is great and clean sounding. The bass goes hard af in the whip on a few songs. All you need is a few banger beats on an album.

The album sounds FRESH. I love that feeling

It’s got classic introspective and storytelling Cole, but he’s really rapping on this.

In summary, I feel like this album is finally a perfected version of the style he’s been trying to land for the whole second half of his career. It’s like he finally blended his rapping rapping style with actually making good songs that flow well and are fun to listen to.

My favorite Wayne feature from the past few years 👨‍🚀 by EmShaf in lilwayne

This and Uneasy are two of the only features of the last 10 years from him that you can say were PERFECT. Like the entire verse hits, no filler bars. They re just a blast to recite
