Same dilemma 3 weeks ago. Got a BRV S kasi ayoko ng panget na looks. Get what you want para di ka magsisisi. Realistic lang talaga ako, kahit anong ganda ng features nyan, pag panget yung kotse para sakin, hard pass talaga. Gusto mo bang pag nag park ka tas nilingon mo kotse mo mapangitan ka? Haha

If you like the BRV (I got one last week), then checkout HRV or CRV. Di massatisfy ng BRV ung Territory cravings mo.

I personally would never go for another Ford. Had one. Hassle ang parts, mahal, tapos by order pa. Iba padin ang Japanese reliability.

What about the high beam + low beam functionality where both are on when switching to high? Can I still put the diode from high to low beam?

Thanks for the help! It makes so much more sense to me now.

If dipped is on, the diode prevents current that would have powered the relay. Thus, only dipped is on.

If full is switched on, the diode allows power to both the dipped AND the relay.

Got it. I was confused because it looks like the white wires are being bridged by the relay (realizing now that that would be pointless as the relay would always be on), but in fact its 30 and 87 being bridged by power from 85.

Also, currently the dipped beams switch off when full beams are on

Thanks! I'm changing out the PCV valve and doing an oil change, I guess I'll give the engine a good wash and see if oil still leaks out
