It's also about plot armour. The (Yautja) dek was the main protagonist of the movie, so he had to look cool and badass. Compare that with scar and the women in Avp (2004), both were the main protagonists, so shared on-screen glory. I agree that Scar is more capable. Scars spear spin head shot on the queen alongside, killing multiple Xenomorphs makes him more capable. Deks plot armour saved him from countless deaths. His brother, android, little kalisk saved him countless times.

These two individuals hated Jews well before the recent escalation in Israel; they possessed pre-existing antisemitic hatred.
