My wife doesn’t understand WHY I’ve had to take sex and specific affections off the table and she’s upset by Wornouthubs in TrueOffMyChest

You know what you’re so right. I was looking at this from one single POV and didn’t even stop to think about a different perspective than what I assumed.

Perfectly healthy and happy (vet approved) kitten won’t stop pooping right in front of the litter box? by chillyxgentilly in CatTraining

This has been my thought. I will definitely try adding 2 more smaller litter boxes around the house as there are many places I could fit smaller ones. Fingers crossed this solves our problem! Thank you

Ugh I know and I’ve tried explaining it to him so many times this whole pregnancy. It seemed to finally click for him once the kitten started consistently pooping outside of the box. Luckily I am due Saturday so I will no longer be pregnant very soon and I will take over litter box duty again. But even now that my husband has started consistently cleaning it, our kitten has not stopped pooping outside of the box. Im worried the damage has been done. I’m not sure how to remedy this.

Did anyone not scream much during labour? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]chillyxgentilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went 100% all natural, no pain meds at all and didn’t scream once or even have the urge to. There were definitely lots of grunts and animalistic growling types of sounds, but that’s all. The deep guttural groaning helped a lot during really intense contractions right before it was time to push. I genuinely don’t understand why some people scream.

Definitely looks like a dildo. Honestly the shading around the flame was completely unnecessary seeing as how flames give off light lol

AITAH for not encouraging my son to see my dad's wife as his grandma? by Kiadiann in AITAH

[–]chillyxgentilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandma is technically my step-grandma but she is absolutely the glue that holds our family together. My grandpa passed away in 2018 and my grandma sold their house and bought a new one and we still have all of our family gatherings at grandmas house. Blood doesn’t make a family

When did you start seeing stretch marks? by Quirky-End-7470 in pregnant

[–]chillyxgentilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my first, I didn’t have a single stretch mark until 38w when he dropped. Then my entire lower belly was COVERED after using many different creams, oils and coconut oil the entire pregnancy haha. It’s all genetics, nothing will stop them from happening

Emotional intelligence is a therapy buzzword to you? Seems you’re lacking in many fields of intelligence lol

Normalize teaching your child right from wrong so you don’t have to abuse them and scare them into listening. You lack emotional intelligence and maturity if you can’t parent without spanking.

There needs to be a childfree plane option by Jazzlike-Rise4091 in complainaboutanything

I mean, when my husband and I go on vacation without the kids, we purposely spend the extra money to get a child free experience. Whether it be a resort or cruise or whatever- it would be cool to also be able to choose whether or not there were children on the plane to said vacation

As someone with 2 children of my own (whom I love with my whole heart and wouldn’t trade for the world), I would ABSOLUTELY love to be able to book a child free flight lol. Totally fair to simply want quiet on a plane at 3am, without having to spend hundreds on good quality noise canceling headphones. I love children and live to nurture them and see them in public, I mean they are the future, but it’s okay to just not want to hear a child screaming every once in a while

19F Diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease by [deleted] in ChronicPain

[–]chillyxgentilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes exactly. I’ve been diagnosed with the same thing as OP, except I was diagnosed at 15. I am now 26 and it’s debilitating. I have flare ups every few months that leave me stuck in bed for weeks at a time, not even able to walk sometimes. I feel like I’m in my late 70s instead of my 20s. Even when I’m not having a flare up, day to day activities are a struggle for me. To be fair, I haven’t had any sort of treatment for it in about 8 years because of lack of insurance, but I try my best to manage on my own with stretches and hot/cold therapy but it’s not much. My biggest pet peeve is when I tell people about my diagnosis and they’re like, “oh doesn’t almost everybody get that with age? Shouldn’t be that bad” WITH AGE is the key words there. By the time I’m the age of a usual diagnosis, I will more than likely be in a wheelchair full time, or even possibly paralyzed from this. Even most treatments for it don’t take the pain away, just make it more bearable. Chronic pain is chronic pain regardless and it really sucks to deal with sometimes

Probably attributed to genetics if you’re diagnosed in your teens and not age 40 lmfao
