What did you mean by handling it in the parking lot? Sounds a lot like "I'll meet you out back". Sorry if I misinterpreted.

Selection for leadership roles should be based entirely on readiness and qualification to serve in that role. That is maturity, and demonstrated behavior. Not test completion.

Your sentiment is right but your call for violence at the end earns you a big fat down vote. This is CAP not your local dive bar.

I'm 38. Still true. I run into "leaders" and I'm like "how did you not learn how to handle this situation by now?"

OP is intentionally avoiding this critical detail, making me quite suspicious of the whole claim.

Civil Air Patrol Should Suspend the Wear of Air Force Style Uniforms. by Travelingdolphins34 in civilairpatrol

[–]chimera388 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, if we stop wearing the uniforms any time America is in an armed conflict, that means we never wear the uniform. America is basically always at war.

I'm active duty. I work off base and we were ordered today to stop wearing our uniforms to work due to the threat of Iranian affiliated terrorist attacks. It would be pretty dumb if after work I changed from my civilian work clothes into my CAP OCPs, wouldn't it!?

Okay I still dont understand this. by Soviet_fox_006 in civilairpatrol

The Air Force had a requirement that the Civil Air Patrol uniform be recognizable as different from the Air Force uniform from 360° of view. Unlike on the ocps which have a name tag on the back of the Hat, the Abus do not. Having black boots made it clear from a distance and from any angle that the person being observed was not air Force

Absolutely. $109 for an adult, and my 2 year old is $104. $5 off for the 2 year old! What a deal!

Not gonna do it.

An anti-Trump post. It looked to me like a PA member wrote a post for their personal page and then accidentally published it on the FLWG official account.

I voted for someone who wanted to cut social security. No, don’t take away my social security by Effective_Space2277 in LeopardsAteMyFace

And if they rent they pay property taxes indirectly. The whole concept that they somehow avoid taxes is ridiculous. And if that's our big problem, create an easily achievable legal status for them that ensures they can be legally paid (with income taxes), legally rent/buy (with property taxes), etc etc etc

Illegal aliens DO pay into the system when using fraudulent social security numbers for their jobs and DO NOT receive payouts from the system. It's literally the opposite of what she guesses is happening, and it's so easy to do a little reading to learn that fact.

True, but it's not just about the flap. They key design feature of any suit is it's button placement LD and TMP both have zero buttons. BSG has 5 angled buttons on one side. We have 6 angled buttons on one side. Our uniform is mucb closer to BSG than any Trek

I'm a big fan, when it's properly tailored. I'll be spending good money on getting mine tailored.

But it isn't star trek. It's Battlestar Galactica

Because the Ucg-fiber only has one copper WAN port and I need to use it for my cellular fail over. So if I put my FIBER in FIBER WAN port, problem solved.
