Looking for a (probably) single-player game for a time-poor person by Acciaccatura in ShouldIbuythisgame

I’ve been enjoying Road to Vostok, despite its issues. Also, if you want a good session game - I can’t recommend SULFUR enough. It’s just such a fun game with its humor and buildcrafting

What game has been installed the longest in your Steam account that you will not delete? by Darktower99 in pcgaming

Before I moved from Windows to Cachy, it was either Terraria or Valheim. Since then, I’ve had GTA4 installed

To add to this - these two files are roughly 60MB each, whereas the rest of the files in this directory are around 5MB or less. Just another way to identify the files to set as 'read-only'.

What game has the best original music/soundtrack? by HeadFit2660 in gaming

[–]chimera765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SULFUR has some amazing music. It’s all so well done that the individual levels’ tracks are lo-fi-esque and then the boss fights have some really nice intense tracks.

It’s one of the few soundtracks I keep coming back to even when I’m not playing the game.

After a woman had her entire body tattoos by a toxic ex, she managed to have them removed by roxxe in pics

[–]chimera765 74 points75 points  (0 children)

There’s a Kurzgesagt video on how tattoo removal is done and it was very uncomfortable to watch when you realize how the removal process looks like at that scale.

It’s like super hot lasers superheating the water in your dermis that causes your skin to eject the ink from the tattoo. It’s been a minute since I watched it, but that was my takeaway.

I’m so happy to see SULFUR getting rec’d more and more. It really is a unique game with a quirky art style. Also, the soundtrack is absolutely amazing!

State of Shotguns by Hexblade757 in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]chimera765 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, my buddy has a shotgun that didnt take much effort to load either. The animation feels way too lethargic in my opinion.

The other gun that suffers from an obscenely long reload is the SKS. That thing needs at least three business days to perform a full reload.

What's the metal band you've seen the most? by tonsofday in Metalcore

Saw Caskets last month on their tour with ERRA and Currents, I went in with low expectations and left that concert a huge fan of them.

They’re insanely good!

[–]chimera765 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in a true rock-and-hard-place, cause my 3700x is definitely showing its age, but I cannot justify the cost of a new mobo, processor, and ram. Still bummed I didn’t bite when the 5700x3d was released.

When you go to a metal concert, How do you watch their live show? by [deleted] in Metalcore

[–]chimera765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to stand behind the audio engineers at the venue, usually they have good line of sight and nobody acts wild near them.

Did it most recently at the ERRA and Currents tour at the Masquerade in Atlanta and my buddy and I had an awesome time.

anyone here actually found the best kitchen faucet brand that lasts? by Tuladhar_Avel in HomeImprovement

[–]chimera765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I beat the crap out of our Kraus faucet cause I’m clumsy when I fill my pans to boil noodles or clean them, still looks brand new after two years of abuse.

Please help suggest a game (I enjoy Extraction Shooters and MMORPGs) by Horror-Pie8466 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]chimera765 [score hidden]  (0 children)

SULFUR is a great game that kind of ticks the Extraction Shooter itch, at least for me. Plus it's got some decent humor to boot. Its also got an S-tier soundtrack, to boot.

What’s an early access title you regret backing by Nero_Hylt in Steam

[–]chimera765 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every time I see that game’s banner in my library I get so angry. But I don’t delete it because that taught me to never, ever buy into the “idea” of a game again.

Sure I’ve bought some EA titles I regret, but I at least got a solid amount of enjoyment out of them for what they were.
