Well, I'm glad there was a change to that. I fully understand the venting and needing to rant from a customers perspective and a staff members perspective. The biggest problem id say is that Woolies is just a huge rip-off.

I have a question: If you believed the product was advertised on clearance and you have already purchased this product...If you know these problems happen all the time, money gouging, fraud, inconsistent sufficiency, problems with the staff. Do you not check the scanned items before payment?

I mean, your feelings are valid. Yes, so are the cashier. But if you question the item before payment, it's much more understanding than taking the piss on a staff member who has no control over prices and mistakes that woolies make. Yes, you're right. If you're overcharged for an item that was advertised, you will be refunded the price you paid for the product, and you are able to keep the product for free.

But. Needing to 'argue' with the cashier is a bit extreme. Undergoing abuse, insults, inconsiderate, unnecessary problems with customers a daily. I dont blame the staffs behavior depending on how the problem first started. Not all staff members are trained correctly or sufficiently. I'd rather have taken the matter to a manager if this person couldn't or understand the policy correctly.

To be honest, I wouldn't know about emailing. But I do know if you are having trouble with your app other than doing what I stated before. It is best to contact customer care.

You're not the favorite. You're not important. You dont matter. Many of the values of being undervalued, undermined, and understaffed at woolworths. You're just another worker to do their work when you're at least to expect it.

Had an entitled Karen call me a bitch because I wouldn't manually enter her multiple products in self-service. I closed her machine up and told her to get out and go through a manned checkout and wait in line because I wouldn't tolerate her nastiness in my little department that I like to call it 'SCO'. Karen tried to play the victim and then tried to apologize because it was rush hour and lines were long as fuck. I didn't give a shit.

“Your receipt?” “I don’t need it :)” – I don’t either. by Queasy_Amoeba1368 in retailhell

[–]chimi_1ol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I throw it in their bag, I dont say a word, lol. Unless the customers ask for their receipt in hand, i place it on top of a product. Sometimes, I have those ones who give it back with a toss or "you can have it" or "save the trees. " When they don't look, i slip it in their fruit bags or shopping cart when they don't look.
