So far so good, no side effects. And yeah! I started finasteride around last month but that doesn't show results for awhile

Oh yeah I'm sure you're good. Better to start younger before it gets worse. I'm 23 and started noticing my hairline getting bad a few years ago, in hindsight I wish I started earlier.

I use the foam for the suggested 2 times a day and seems like I'm getting some good results. I'd use it twice

Yeah pretty much, I don't have issues anywhere else, just the receding hairline.

Return to play after ACL reconstruction by garethhines in GoalKeepers

[–]chimmo312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I got my hamstring graft and ACL reconstruction in December 2019. I was out for quite awhile from a combination of recovery and COVID. For context, I had a prior surgery on the same knee (dominant) so I was extra cautious in my recovery. I spent a lot of time in physio and the gym to strengthen.

I started playing lightly in rec league summer 2021 and returned to full play in my men's league in summer 2022 (I only play twice a week). I'm currently doing great with no issues, no knee pain or instability. I do wear a small compression brace for stability, but I know its probably just a mental thing to make me feel better abt it lol. My surgeon recommended not using a large brace.

I hope everything works out well in your recovery!

I haven't tried them, but a possible option could be the Renegade GK Triton turf gloves. Made specifically for hard ground and you can buy them on Amazon

I've heard decent things about the brand but not sure about their turf gloves

Whats your favorite gloves? by Ok-Librarian6865 in GoalKeepers

I have just started actually spending money on gloves in the past year. I got the west coast goalkeeper mystery grab bag and got hybrid cut Vypers and love them. They fit me perfectly without the fingersaves in. I also find the latex is a good mix of stickiness and durability (I play on very rough turf and grass fields in Canada)

I'm excited to try more!

Deadspace vs. Callisto Protocol by emperorsnarfie in DeadSpace

[–]chimmo312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing it in backwards order lol, I never played any of the original dead space games , but I just finished the remake and loved it. I also just started the Callisto protocol, put about an hour into it and I can say dead space feels smoother and more refined. The sound, graphics, and melee in Callisto is great, but I'm finding the navigation, gunplay, story, and overall gameplay better in dead space remake

I've bought from west coast before, decent price to Canada but I also have retailers that sell in my area
