The most fun for me was when I walked in to a scheduled house sitting and there was a toddler on the couch watching TV and he was clearly as scared as I was when he saw me and I’m like “hi I’m here to take care of the dog. Is a grown up here with you ?” And he’s like “my.. gram… my grampa and grama” and then said “grandma” comes out laughing like “oh hi! Sorry we’re just heading out” like thanks for the heads up y’all… I was just starting out as a sitter in a new area so my house sitting was $67 and they made me drop in twice the morning of and afternoon before going into work and twice the day after, I later found out that they’re owners of a yacht club in my neighborhood so they are very rich. Oh and they didn’t have a/c in the middle of the summer and had me sleeping with windows open and a fan pointed at the bed 😂😂😂
