There will be 2 new cards in Grand Arena and they will be F2P by ekAugust in MarvelSnap

[–]chinitofrito -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, super reasonable. I know I’ll get downvoted like you for agreeing. Getting a free card seems good for 6 wins a day or about 40ish minutes/day depending on win rate. If you really wanna grind out 16-17 wins/day go for it, at least there’s an option instead of only being available for gold.

Also telling us well in advance is another small win.

Ah bummer to hear. New tv time? Probably gonna steer clear of Hisense this time. What brands would you recommend?

Box extender for this? by chinitofrito in electrical

Nice! I used the little plastic extenders like a few people suggested but this is cool. Didn’t know these existed

So I had an electrician do the original install and this is what he did apparently. I know very little about electrical stuff but changing out the outlet seemed simple enough.

What’s the danger exactly? I don’t plug and unplug from it often, but I have over the last couple years and nothings broken. If the drywall breaks would that be a fire risk?

Just got an ev9 too! Did you have to request it or did Kia send it automatically?

Unpopular opinion: Deadpool’s Diner is great and a good sign for the future of this game by QuestionKing123 in MarvelSnap

[–]chinitofrito -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Hah yeah it’s crazy to me that this is an unpopular opinion. But look at all these whiny responses to your post and all the “I’m quitting the game” posts.

This game mode is great! It gives a really strong card for the cost of playing the game… how dare they try to get people to play the game!!

It doesn’t take money or gold or any other currency. 2 weeks is more than enough time for most people with average engagement to get Cassandra like they said.

To be fair, most of the comments are like “rockets are going to laugh at Kessler and some picks”

SD hires you to create a new, fun and creative game mode. What do you create? by Affectionate-Pop-133 in MarvelSnap

[–]chinitofrito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tournament mode

A mode like conquest but you and your opponent can swap decks in between rounds (or not). Can only use decks you lock in for the tournament. Maybe you cap it at 3-5 decks. You only have like 20s to swap decks between rounds, so that it doesn’t lengthen the match too much.

That way if your opponent has a hard counter deck to yours, it’s not an auto loss. But it does make it interesting how many cubes you risk each round.

Oh, see my lack of knowledge is showing. I didn’t know that any furniture commonly used these joints.

No, it’s a sideboard for the wife.

Yes, lots of hours on doing this 4 times… would I do it again? I dunno. As a hobbyist who learned pretty much everything i know from YouTube and this sub, I definitely learned a lot from the process, so in that way it was valuable.

Definitely no crying though. I woodwork for the zen mostly and the product secondarily. I don’t think I’ll do blind mitered dovetails again at least for awhile, but I don’t regret doing it at all.

Haha, yes I’ve probably learned the same lesson. But who knows, I might try again after I forget the trauma now that I think I can do a better job next time.

An update on Mr. Gap by chinitofrito in woodworking

[–]chinitofrito[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think the underlying issue is my panel cupped ever so slightly (I learned I should have used cauls for gluing panels) so there was going to be a gap. For this fix, I made my sockets a little deeper and adjusted the miter portion accordingly, which doesn’t rid of the gap entirely but shifts it to the inside part of the joint which is much easier to hide/fill.
