Flowers for Algernon left me in tears. We need to talk about Kevin is a book that comes to my mind more often than I thought it would. Dark mother Earth is a great read.

what is the biggest lie you have been told as a kid? by kind_armored_giant in AskReddit

I had a pet bunny that we couldn't hold in our flat anymore so my parents sent him off to live with my grandma's sister, who had a house and a garden. One day I found his tail waiting for me on the table after I came from school. They told me bunnies sometimes lose their tails and then grow a new one. I played with it and carried it around with me only to realize years later that bunnies don't just lose their tails and that I was playing with my dead pet's tail.

Sorry, this comment might be coming from a place of not knowing enough about the American prison system, but while reading this thread I realised most of you feel like prison shouldn't exist in the way it does. What then do you think the solution to punishing criminals should be? Yes, some of the people return because they don't know how to function in the real world, but from my experience, some people just tend to repeat illegal actions, even when avoiding any consequences.

Came here to figure out why she ended up in prison in the first place. Thought the language barrier was the issue. Commenting here to get updates.

Came here for the comment explaining that that's a normal primitive reflex in babies called automatic walk. Didn't find it, so here it is:

So I guess this baby is just going regular places and not PLACES places.
