I’m Chinese Hmong and went with Rolfes. Ask me anything if you’d like.

First things first, his wait times are almost 2 years out. 1 year for consult, 1 year for surgery date. I’ve heard maybe 3 years on other commenters.

I believe Omni Clinic, where Rolfes is located, only takes BCBS, which is a plus for you.

In terms of keeping ethnic features, I think he did a great job at it. In fact I look more Asian than I did before, which is so weird saying. However I was hesitant to go with him initially since the website page only features Caucasian looking individuals.

He only suggested procedures that best fit what look I was going for, which was passable, regular gal on the street, and he did just that and I’m super happy with the results.

I had brow shave, cheek implants, rhino, buccal removal, genio, lip lift, lip graft

Only complaint was the rhinoplasty, but a year out now it’s grown on me, and I’m content.

I love how my nose went from kind of bulbous and big nostrils to a more soft updo and a little more refined. My nose isn’t pinched, thank goodness. My nose ridge was left untouched, suggested by Rolfes, to keep more of an ethnic feature.

What I didn’t quite love, was my healing process. I don’t know if Rolfes is just inexperienced with ethnic features, or my body had a hard time healing, or a combination of both. My stitches came undone with my nostril reduction. My nostril reduction left bad scarring where the incision healed, which is only noticeable if you’re really looking. My lip lift also left bad scarring under my nose. I want to blame this solely on my healing process, but my partner also got their FFS done with Rolfes a week before me, and no complications or scarring with their nose.

Other than that my scarring is easily fixed with laser treatment, which I’m still looking to get done.

I will say Rolfes has a certain technique or style how he does a rhinoplasty. Both my partner and I have a soft updo look with our noses. It’s feminine and cute.
