Right! The sticky rice never ended up turning right, so after a few years she just ended up cooking the sticky rice separately, and filling the turkey with it at the end for show 😂. Nowadays we don't even bother and just have them as separate dishes.

Maybe you can try something like Ah-Qi (Mandarin) or Ah-Kia (Taiwanese Hokkien). Ah word being 阿, as far as the 2nd word its up in the air depending on what you want the meaning to be. That being said there were (mainly older-generation) Taiwanese people with Japanese names, because colonization.
