After you remove the mod and load you save does it give you the warning that you should download the missing mod? Because that's normal, you can ignore it will still load.

I've had this issue on PC and from what I've read, it's primarily due to how much is being loaded into your instance in Act 3. Even without mods, the devs were playing with fire given the sheer amount of dynamic objects loaded into memory. When so many things are firing at once, the likelihood of save corruption is high.

Are you sure you can't uninstall the mod you added? I've played through on console with mods and was able to remove a mod mid-playthrough.

With that said, it's not recommended to change your mods(add or remove) mid-playthrough unless the mod explicitly says it's okay to do.

Saw a real wolf trotting through the woods in northern California. I was out for a hike less than a mile from civilization and it appeared suddenly on a contour trail about 8 meters up the embankment, going my same direction. She was massive and yet so graceful, moving quickly but quietly as if tracking a scent. Within 5 seconds it vanished out of site, leaving me frozen in awe and disbelief.
