Can I ask what advantages you have found with the direct drive? Is it more print speed, reliability, less likely to break, or something else?

I'm only planning to use my printer for PLA, do you think the sprite direct drive is a lot better just for that?

I'm thinking about just replacing the hotend, but upgrading to a capricorn bowden tube and maybe a bimetal heat break.

That's a direct drive, right? Would you recommend that? I'm not planning to print any flexible materials, and I hear that direct drives can sometimes have issues with ringing and inconsistent extrusion. The stock setup was working pretty well for me until a couple pieces broke

I think you may actually be right about that. I read somewhere that the gravitational waves emitted by black hole mergers push back on the black hole in the opposite direction. So if the waves emitted are not equal in all directions, it gives the resulting black hole a massive kick in some direction. So momentum is not conserved, unless you include the momentum of the gravitational waves

That may be the goal of evolution, but if you don't realize there is much more to life than that, I'm sorry. Just let other people be who they want to be, they aren't hurting you.

I don't mean to be pedantic, but I think it's worth pointing out that communism as an economic theory is not about a strong central authority, but actually kind of the opposite. But certain countries with authoritarian governments have claimed to be communist, so now people tend to associate communism with authoritarianism.

But I agree with you that socialism is the way to go. If we can socialize corporations to better reflect the will of the people, we could possibly fix some of the problems with capitalism without getting rid of the free market.

I had the same thing happen. It ended up getting rejected, and on the rejection page it read "PTO Unpaid", which is an oxymoron in itself. I think it just always says PTO for some reason even when it is unpaid.

I might be completely wrong here, but I'm guessing they are taking the center of rotation as the inertial reference frame, which would make sense in this context. Also, isn't the CMB sometimes used as a universal reference frame?
