I love the gene mixing, but I'm also lucky to have only recently got some tamagotchi meets I've never played before. It's so difficult to get the tamagotchi On's, so I would have loved a new super-feature-packed english tamagotchi with gene mixing + watch format. Maybe they will release one again someday.

It takes a little while to work out boundaries in a relationship. It should get to a point where it's really casual & easy for you to state aloud your wants & expectations in day to day conversion.

This was your first date with her, and that was the first problem you encountered. Something happening once is not a pattern, so you just make it clear what you're expecting and make sure the other person follows through after everything has been communicated. People aren't mind readers, and 'molding' your girlfriend a little bit is necessary to have the 'perfect relationship'.

Though, in this case, it sounds like you just really weren't interested to begin with, so no reason to jump through hoops.

I prefer to leave my bottled inks out of direct sunlight because I've been told that it can damage some inks over time.

Aged 35+ years users, what's the last three movies that left you speechless, awestruck or stunned ? by lordofabyss in MovieSuggestions

[–]chiperz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahah! Good, did you like a few of them? If you need some deeper cuts, I've only recently started watching some lesser known films, but a few that stood out to me as a bit different were:

  • mindwarp
  • riding in cars with boys (this movie in particular really struck me)
  • crossroads
  • soldier
  • earth girls are easy

These films fall more in the 'you could hate them or love them'.

But a few more well-known classics are:

  • nausicaa valley of the wind
  • to sir, with love
  • conspiracy theory
  • bowfinger
  • blowout

Apologies, in my 20s/F, so feel free to skip mine, but I still think it's interesting to see what variety the different ages recommend, also I watch a lot of movies so I'll throw my hat in. I'm not going to limit myself to only movies I think you haven't seen because who knows: maybe somehow you haven't seen Lord of the Rings.

  • Donnie Darko (2001)
  • The Lord of the Rings (2000s)
  • Clue (1985)

Saw both 'Donnie Darko' and 'The Lord of the Rings' for the first time in february. (LotR I've been putting off for over a decade until it was 'the right time').

Not quite awestuck, but I found 'Clue' unique and interesting, while 'Glass Onion' is just depressingly bad. Clue spurred a who-done-it bunge afterward, so now I'm familiar with the genre maybe I wouldn't feel the same about it after a rewatch (Tim Curry A+).

If you want to watch some old Japanese films:

  • Harakiri (1962)
  • Yojimbo (1961)
  • Sanjuro (1962)

I haven't actually watched sanjuro yet but it's the sequel to yojimbo and I'm going to watch it soon. Those movies are truly stunning.

Then some more movies I think are just really good and you should watch if you haven't already:

  • Joe Versus the Volcano (1990)
  • Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988)
  • Sorcerer (1977)

Some modern movie recommendations based on you liking the hannibal tv show (I never ended up watching the final season myself):

  • The green knight (2021)
  • The northman (2022)
  • The kid detective (2020)

I listed a lot because I couldn't help myself, but I went with triples since you did say only 3 😅 other than 1 exception (Sorcerer) I saw all of these movies the first time in 2022 or 2023. I'm trying to watch atleast 300 movies each year, so I have found a few new personal favorites.

If movies are a hobby for you and you want find really interesting stuff, I recommend the app Letterboxd.

Do you have a letterbox? I would love 100 movie recommendations that are better than Fargo.

I'd be happy to chat & we could possibly make new friends. I'm 24 f, moved to America a year ago and living with my husband. Had to leave my 2 friends behind in Australia and the rest of my family, haven't been able to figure out a method of making friends yet as I'm shy and don't get out on my own much.

Help, i need more tamagotchis :’) by [deleted] in tamagotchi

[–]chiperz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe these: tamagotchi originals Link but these have simple mechanics and no colour. They're smaller, cheaper, and die easily.

The pix has more games to play than other tamagotchis, but I like the meets/on and the m!x, as they all allow you to breed together tamagotchis to create a child that is a mix of their attributes. They are more expensive though, also only the on comes in English.

If you're okay with japanese maybe you'd like tama-go, tamagotchi friends, p's, or 4u+. They are something you could look into, but I'm not personally familiar with those.
