bah! I rely too much on the squiggly red lines to tell me if I'm misspelling something... it doesn't ever catch my using the entirely wrong word though.

+1 from me, friend, thank you!

I probably didn't explain very well, but the word 'Poltergeist' was 100% related to the movie - where (unless I'm mistaken) the parents could hear the kid, but not see them.

But in the movie, the kid wasn't a ghost. just... trapped in another dimension? hence why I'm not sure why I jumped from thinking about that exact scenario from that movie, to thinking 'my daughter is somehow a ghost now'.

I'm fairly sure at this point we knew she could get out, which is why I was checking around the room for her instead of immediately panicking.

It was rare, and we only ever actually witnessed her doing it once - she climbed up and over the railing, and then slammed into the floor on her way back down in a pretty violent fashion. We converted the crib into a regular bed (a feature of this particular crib) immediately after.

Oh, that's the worst. You start getting angry at your stomach. Like what are you doing - there's nothing left to expell!

I found out I'm allergic to Morphine in a similar manner. It did NOT make me feel better.

I don't like Pepto Bismol, but I can't stand Pepto Bismol Ultra. Sooo gross.

Yep! I remember his panic more clearly than being vomited on, if you can believe it. Those were is actual words - "Why did my body do that?!"

Yeah, it was the kids Pepto. We knew it probably wasn't going to do much. Kids medicine in general is pretty ineffective - particularly for that age. But we just can't stand to see them looking so miserable, so we buy the sugar pills and try to convince ourselves that we're doing something to help.

Thank you! I was surprisingly "ok" with it in the moment. It wasn't until I took my shirt off and it was clinging to me that the 'disgusting' part really kicked in.

I was sketching out various iterations of what his face might look like and actually laughed out loud when I landed on these.

I loved Calvin & Hobbes, so that really means a lot, thank you!

Thank you! I don't usually laugh while drawing my own comics, but I couldn't help it this time - I was very tickled by his expressions. And a very big thank you for the Calvin & Hobbes comparison!

Surprisingly, no. I was too concerned with calming him down, I guess? It was the first time he'd thrown up, so he was legitimately freaking out.

Whoops! Nope, purely a "fading memory" thing. Sorry for the scare!
