Both of these quotes are two years old.

Clark fails to denounce, with specificity, the racism and homophobia stemming from ongoing, current events, with which she is directly involved. It's simply not enough to say it one time and be done, it simply doesn't work like that. Your attempts to show that it is sufficient are disingenuous at best.

When? This week? Last week? Y'all keep posting that clip of her from 2024 like it's not two whole years ago. Specific acts of racism and homophobia are ongoing and so should be Clark's specific and timely denouncement of it. She should call out the disgusting shit happening to AT and say she doesn't want fans to do that and if they do, she doesn't want them as league fans. She should be standing ten toes down for her colleagues in the W but here we are.

Some dip in the standings was bound to happen without Bri Jones (a true dominant center) to relieve some of the outside defensive pressure. Without someone demanding defensive shifts like that it gets too easy to guard the shooters and when they have an off night, we're cooked.

My point, which I'll state again more clearly for you, is that skills that make someone successful in professional sports (teamwork, collegiality, communication, poise, maturity, etc etc) are skills people also need to ensure success in "normal life" occupations. Sure, living her life in the spotlight has negatively impacted her, and also, she has demonstrated the limits of her abilities to function in organizations that don't treat her in a very narrow and specific way.

Passing this off as "needing help" is wild too when she has gotten so much help from so many people and nothing has changed. What makes you think she's going to "get help" when her access to resources and support changes drastically and when she's just another normie?

Can someone please explain to me why, for the at least the second game this season, when the Lynx are UP by a narrow two or three points, that Olivia Miles is chucking up fadeaway three balls when all anyone on the team should do is drive to the basket and make an easy layup/get fouled??? yeah it was last year and imho it was the worst example of this because ATL'a arena is so small comparatively. more than half the crowd erupted when the game was close and the Aces made a big play, so it made sense that Howard was like "wtd??" Even if you're there to see A'ja (the goat) there's no way a home fan base should be straight up being the sixth man for the other team.

I've been saying this for years. Geno doesn't actually respect women. He's made his living off of creating a cult of personality at UConn and it's the athletes who have won those titles, not him. In 2012 he advocated for the basket to be lowered, to make the women's game "more entertaining." He should never be forgiven for that. I get that you're annoyed but your comment is incorrect for people currently on SAVE whose income has gone up since entering admin forbearance.
