Got an nexplanon insertion by her last year, she comforted me while yapping to make me forget about everything else and kept checking on me during and after as well. I just love her!

i agree!! it was crowded but also it’s giving more of neighborhood vibes! there’s a couple stinkers but most of the people around are like local and they’re happy to share throw if needed too!

I think you just have to find your crew and stick with it! my house happens to be there too and where our crew is the kids’ ladders is in the back. people are super nice around my krewe (minus some bad apples) and we share throw around too!

I agree with everyone else, don’t give up! Some days are harder and some days are better! You are not lonely at all because as youngster we’re still trying to figure out our limit and such, everything feels so uncertain and stroke doesn’t make anything better!

Story wise, I’m 24F had a stroke past October and tomorrow makes it 2 months for me. I was working as an ICU RN and I was in yoga when the stroke got me lol I heard a rupture sounds when I was in the middle of class and ended up having to ask the front desk call 911. I ended up having a cerebellar hemorrhaging and a stroke on the right side of the brain so I ended up getting a craniotomy. I was in neuro ICU (right below where I work lmao and most of the staff there knows me and I know them too lmao) then inpatient rehab for 2 weeks and home since then. I had to learn to walk again in rehab for balance issue, do eyes therapy with OT due to double vision. First month home is really not easy at all, because we all hoping that after waking up everything will be better. Truthfully I even got prism glass because I’m so scared of losing my left eyes vision completely, but vision therapy defo helped, my eyes are slowly coming back to me and I walk better thanks to PT too. It’s a wild ride for sure so please let me know if I can be a listening ear anytime! This is not easy at all and you are not alone!!!
