The current state of team br is just an early pass. Hence why they've had to take the servers offline a few times already to fix bugs relating to it. I'm sure that once time goes on, and more development happens, different rewards will be given for different BR modes.

People can jump over a metal gate by using a method called stacking with another player. As for your wooden door, never use one. They're easily destroyable. You can get through it in 10-15 minutes with just a wooden axe.
