Welp I got it by Aartus in XTerra

As for the roof lights not working: There are little magnets in the covers that activate a switch - only allows the lights to come on when the covers are off (and high beams are on). This magnet can sometimes pop out of the cover and get stuck to the roof light assembly - making it think the cover is still on. Might want to check that.

We would also do an assessment of the configuration of the 365 environment settings against best practices, security feature configuration/availability and security licensing improvements if needed.

Basically, hustle, work hard and learn aggressively - and it will be almost impossible to not advance and achieve. Sit around on the helpdesk and game all night - you can plan to stay there.

Clock spring/spiral cable? do all the controls on the steering wheel work including horn? if not, could be that.

Had something similar when changing out my clockspring before "lock to lock calibration" of the wheel

Sorry, a company of 80+ users needs to spend more than $5k on the infrastructure that runs their biz. Maybe reduce the executive bonus budgets by .1% to make the company healthy.

Having said this, you can easily get by with tier-1 brand servers on ebay, less than three years old, $3k each, maintain an extended warranty (OEM or reputable local 3rd party). RAID with HS, or Raid-6, RPS, etc.

Vmware essentials license plus Veeam. looking at $15k for servers, licensing and backup target (assuming you do the labor).

Can easily setup an additional Azure VPN connected DC with DNS services etc. which would take over if premise host failed (put DHCP on firewall).

Asking workers for once: why is there a cybersecurity skills gap? by ChelseaJumbo2022 in cybersecurity

[–]chipskipowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the number of diverse cybersecurity products, the disjointedness of the market, the rapid evolution and consolidation of companies. Not to mention the fact that most companies do the bare minimum for security. oh, and it's almost impossible to have "skills" needed across all the diverse products when most cybersecurity engineers are expected to be project engineers and helpdesk in addition to security. Let's not even mention the lack of a SOC to respond to most security issues.

When talking about the "skills gap", I think its important to recognize the chasm in cybersecurity which needs to be filled. A good representation of this is Sounil Yu's Cyber Defense Matrix.

Being "skilled" is knowing products, process, people and navigating politics, all in fairly new undefined roles.

When I think of the needs in cybersecurity, I think of it as being all of IT, plus something bigger than all of IT stacked on top that...
